"EBay wined and dined as many as 5,200 of its most active sellers at a convention in Orlando, Fla., last weekend. The elite of the elite, who move more than $150,000 in merchandise a month, got to pose for pictures with Chief Executive Meg Whitman, the Washington Post reported. EBay estimates 150,000 people make their living selling goods through the site. The Orlando conference included trade show booths, classes and seminars. It was a 'celebration of the stars of EBay, the people of our community,' the company said."

My DH is a car watcher (watcher as opposed to collector since we can't really afford to purchase the cars) and there's quite a few car dealers on ebay that just deal in Porsche's and Ferrari's (or other high end automobiles). Sell 2 or 3 a month and there you are.

I doubt anyone sells two or three ferraris in a month- not on a regular basis.
I met a guy who brought over a Bentley fron the UK- it had belonged to the Beatles, and was muralled by The Fool, an artist of those days. He sold it for hundreds of thousands of dollars, but he ended up living alongside it in its garage for the last few months before he made the sale.

I wouldn't have thought any ebay seller was cosistently selling 600 pool tables each month till the article was posted here. There must be a lot of sellers selling 150K per month on ebay.

How do I/we become $150K a month sellers? What type of items/goods are we looking for? Pool tables don't thrill me, besides, where does he buy them? From liquidators? If that's so, why don't the liquidators sell them? Maybe he's giving them a cut on what he sells?
