That's how I saw the discrepancy, when I started checking off the bank account payments.

End of thread.

salga sells on amzn and payment is processed thru amzn one click and she sells on half.com and payment is processed thru their version of one click, both services automatically deposit fund into her bank account.
we have been telling her in past threads paypal is different, she obviously does not want to learn .
but she does have time to post on other auctions on how great IOFFER is.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THAT 'SPLAINS IT! People usually come back and say "got it - thanks" and not "end of thread"...so next time she gets a PP payment we can expect the same thing again? Wonder if that $16 will sit in her PP account til then??

Salgal,

whenever you make a payment through Paypal, they always take the funds from your account first...you do not have a choice on that option. if you have no funds in your account, you can choose to have funds taken from your bank account or credit card.

whenever you are paid through Paypal, you must click on the WITHDRAW tab and have the funds transferred to your bank account.

nothing is automatic on Paypal.

No neglus - nest time we can explect something along the lines of

PayPal is too difficult so I have decided to take Visa and Mastercard only. This Bleeping buyer won my auction and now refuses to send me their number

or

PayPal is too difficult so I have decided to take Visa and Mastercard only. I have the buyer Visa number and I called Visa but they won't give me any money.

You See SalGal refuses to actually do any reasearch. Haven't you realized that from the trends of her posts. She dives in and then comes here to find out how to finish what she has started.

Well then it seems that I should consider Paypal as another bank. Right? Thank you all again. Got it.

Fenix03,

Your sig file is appropriate here on this thread. It's a good thing SalGal is teaching others about online auctions. What we don't need more of is uneducated e-commerce newbies...

Clarification: When I made the donations to the Paypal site, I filled out my credit card information. this is what confused me. I thought I was paying the two vendors through my bank account/credit card and not through the PP account balance.

She gives Ebay/Paypal seminars.
Her teachings are based on what she learns here on this board.
So I figure, by the time she puts our % in our paypal accts. she will have Paypal pretty well figured out!

FYI: I was asked to substitute for a teacher who at the last minute cancelled the class. I had 2 days to prepare and think the class went well.

My question is how, considering the most basic of questions you have asked her, would you ever consider yourself to be qualified?

As a student in the class I would rather not attend that recieve partial or potentially flat out incorrect inormation from an unqualified teacher.

Salgal, I'm so glad to hear the class went well because I remember when you came here and started a thread called HELP.

http://www.vendio.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&id=519789&thread=519789

Two days wasn't much time to learn what it has taken many of us much longer to learn. And you hadn't even purchased a single item on ebay. So I hope you taught them well.

BTW, are they all buying on ebay now?

I also admire your courage to keep coming back here asking questions because that's one sure way to learn. If this crowd can't teach you, no one can.

All the best!

[b]How do I request payment from Pay pal?[/p]

You don't. Paypal will not pay you. You have to request the payment from your buyer.
