I saw it I don't mind but you shouldn't have jumped all over hapless Jack for doing the same thing earlier in a different thread. Why not just leave the remark, it was a minor thing.

Turning in rule breakers to ebay is now an exercise in futility anyway as ebay will no longer enforce many of it's rules anyway. The minor rules like the 'no more than 1 clickable link per auction' are ignored now by ebay even when reported. The illegal tiffany violators would not even get a letter from ebay if the were turned in. Ebay is also starting to ignore banner violators and other violators as perhaps it was too much work and too expensive to enforce the minor rules on so many auctions.

If eBay didn’t so limit the number of characters in their titles, one might be able to describe more fully exactly what their item is.

I often use a title such as: CLASSIC VICTORIAN REVERSE PAINTED ROSE LAMP

That is 43 characters, and still it doesn’t exactly pin down the lamp – the lamp is “Victorian Style” which is clearly stated in the ad, and the posting definitely states it is NOT antique, but there is no room in the title to be specific – the Rose is actually Red, but no place to put that either.........sometimes titles may “seem” deceptive, because there simply aren’t enough characters permitted to totally describe the item.

If you used "CLASSIC VICTORIAN REVERSE PAINTED ROSE LAMP" or something similar for the items I buy and sell, I would turn you in for keyword spamming and do so regularly. There are some items that I will not list any more because of all the keyword spamming scum who think it is alright to use the word and says looks like, reminds me of, the style of, or any other spam phrase.

They should also nail them for using the spam word followed by ? in the title.

Keyword spamming is out of control and hurts sales. Many times buyers give up looking for certain items because of all the keyword spamming. Turn the scum in.
