You look so....so...um...puritan and innocent and words that come outta your mouth should be thee and thou (Thats a compliment, btw).

Wow! Lot's here I haven't seen before - and I didn't have the right pictures in my mind of Toke or junque! I noticed the brace on your wrist, Toke - carpal tunnel? Did you do the surgery thing, or are you waiting it out? I get to find out on Wednesday what they are gonna do with me, and I'm just wondering how bad it hurts if they opt to do surgery!
Har!!! That's for when I'm trying to sell stuff and convince people they're safe giving me their money... dcj is more familiar with my real...um...voice... Yeah, I can sit on my braid. I like your hair Maui, I think I'll try and let mine go grey. I have a lot more grey than you do...but, I dye it. Man, am I sick of that. I wonder if I could streak it grey, so the roots wouldn't show. Otherwise, I'll just have to cut it.
Kris...
I had some kind of weird infection...not carpal tunnel. I couldn't bend my wrist and it was swollen to twice its size...hurt big time. Antibiotics fixed me up in about 2 weeks. Cost me though...had to hire porters at the show...couldn't drive...couldn't even unpack my stock. Good sales, though! I was trying to use my calculator in that pic...

Ouch! Mine is carpal tunnel - both wrists are affected, but the right one is the bad one. A couple of months ago, I went for about three weeks with no feeling at all in the middle two fingers on that hand, and the achy pain in the wrist. I can't wear the brace during the day, because my hands are in water so much, and both jobs I have are food service/prep, so the brace doesn't count as being 'sanitary'. LOL So I sleep with the braces on, and try to get through the day without em.
Weirdest part is that typing/computer work has not ever been an issue - they didn't start to hurt until I started decorating cakes. Obviously, I don't do that anymore. The surgery scares the hell outta me, because I don't think they put you to sleep! I'm a coward - I don't want to be awake while they are in there poking around!

lol junquemama...your bike is fine. I couldnt resist saying that though. Yeah, Harleys DO break down. Thats why the guys who own them or can afford them are lawyers, doctors, and other high paid job people...they have to afford to fix 'em alla time. But nothing sounds better to the ears than a hog at full throttle, eh? heh

Toke...I decided I was tired of dying my hair, so I just let it turn gray. Best thing is, its all streaked! Dont have to pay a salon to wrap my hair up in tin foil anymore! Dont cut it!!! Let it grow out, and trim as you go. I used that NATURAL INSTINCTS for a long time, which washes out after 22 shampoos. As it grew out, I whack alittle here, alittle there. I finally cut mine when it was at my waist, just to get the rest of the off color gone. Finally, it grew back to that length again. The pic I posted was 3 months ago, and I didnt think it would EVER get back to my waist in the back. So dont cut it! Dont die it anymore...just use a rinse out color. I used the dark brown one and it was great. Now, Im all silvery...and I like it! Changed my wardrobe too, to whites and grays and it highlights the silver.

Oh, boy Kris...I'm a total wimp, too. From what I hear, it is a local. It'll be worth it, though.
Sooo...shut your eyes. Seriously...just don't look (you could wear a sleep mask, if you know you'll peek.) You can get those foam earplugs at your local drugstore. They work...I wear them during major thunderstorms and don't hear a thing. If you can't see it...can't hear anything...you'll be fine. I promise...

That wouldn't have been the sixties, would it? Sounds familiar... That goes beyond snicker to a great big happy belly laugh!!!
Maui...
How in the world do you get that stuff to wash out???? I've always used Loving Care...supposed to wash out in 6-12 shampoos. HA! Sticks to my hair like glue...just gets lighter brown...but never back to grey. Phooey. I have a VERY clear line of roots if I don't dye it...that's why I need some kind of streak job. My natural hair is almost black...but, it's so long it's old...and very porous I'm assuming...therefore sucking up the dye forever??? I dunno. I sure wish I'd never done it.

Nutspec answering the roll call. Don't have any way to post a photo - mostly because I am an idiot about such things and admit it freely.
But I could email a Jpg to somebody to add to the collage.
But then again the sight of me might cause the disk drives to lock up

Toke...yes, your hair can really suck up the dye, especially on the drier ends. Maybe whack it off to your bra line? Still long, but getting the older hair off. If you try hair dyes, DONT put it on the ends. Only at the top of your roots, and then wetting your hair down where its longer and putting the color on that way. If its wet, it wont suck up the color so much. Im whacking mine all the time, in little bits, just to get the dead crap off. Also, I have NEVER felt my hair so soft and shiny until I used Natural Instincts. Its easy on the hair itself, too. Never used dyes..too harsh. But now that Im au natural, I dont have to worry about it anymore. I like my silver. Hell, I worked for every strand
Nutspec, you handsome devil you
Rancher, you outta meet up with GrannyFox...I bet you two would get along really well
Kaff, great hog! Cute kid, too..and youre very pretty. Sheesh...we are all might fine, arent we? heh
