I hope Sept and Oct pick up, it usually does. Good luck to everyone.

I just had one of my best weeks all summer. I'm not worried about September or October. I think Ebay will bounce back like it always does. This is not the first time gasoline prices were sky high. Remember 9/11 and what happened to gasoline prices then? How about all the people who were out of work because of it? My sales were fine then, too. Think positive!

It appears that dum---- cantwin has based his facts on Sept 11 and no other years. If you remember in 2001, sales were soring right after the Labor Day holiday. Then the planes crashed into those buildings and the selling stopped. It did take nearly two months for it to recover and that was only because of Christmas. Then is slowed again until August of 2002. Then sales got brisk and things started getting back to normal. That has also been the trend this year. Mid August was brisk, slowed now for the holiday and I see no reason the Christmas season shouldn't start up soon. Unless another 9/11 should happen.
