lol Neglus!

My husband is the same way. My problem is mainly ebay related, but his is everything. Luckily, he doesn't buy or see much around here. I finally tossed an old coat he had for 20+ years (it was really big and heavy and it never gets that cold here in Vegas). Well, sure enough, a year after I had tossed it he found it missing and wanted to know where it was.

When I asked why he just said he wanted in in case we ever moved back to Texas. I tried to tell him he could just buy a new one, but he was very distressed about that one. I finally had to tell him it was probably in one of the boxes in storage to calm him down. He also has a large stash of nails, hinges etc. from when we owned our own home. He might need them someday, right? I did learn to never ever throw away anything that belongs to him! Because, like my 9 year old grandson who was searching through everything yesterday looking for a little yu-gi-oh guy (one of about 80 and he knew the exact description of the one that was missing), they both know exactly what they have and it better be around if they decide to take inventory

Next time he goes on an extended trip - call your local rent a husband - get someone with a large pick-up and have them make some dump hauls for you. My mother does that twice a year when her husband goes on camping trips. She also has them do all of the repairs that he swore he would do but has not gotten around to.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I'm moving to Vegas in late November early December so if you ever need help for a day let me know.

At walmart/kmart They have shelving units that are inexpensive. They are only in the $20 range as they are ugly grey metal. I have a few of them and there are 2 sizes. The large one is big enough to hold the folding lid crates and large boxes.

Then the box at the bottom in the back will no longer be too far away and buried to get to anytime this year. Instead it will be on the very acessible bottom shelf.

The big one measures 71 x 36 1/2 x 15 1/2

The small one measures 61 x 31 x 12

I know I fall into fluffy's ebay catagory. Never used to have this much clutter until Ebay hit my life. Now its "don't get rid of it, I might be able to sell it on ebay!"
Yeah, right. I am coming around. Threw a few things out the other day! Did it and din't even look back
