in researching all of this - I've learned ALOT that I didn't know. However, let me just add Kiara that there are multiple users that use what I now know as "keyword spamming" in various forms ( some of them power sellers ) and not one of them that I've talked with ( and I did ) have been taken off of ebay for it.

kiara -
I'm not going to "post" anything from anyone on a board like this - just as I would not post the users name that has multiple "not a registered users" on her feedback. Not a very good idea unless one wants serious trouble.... Why is it that you don't seem interested in the real issue here?

I'm curious as to why you are so hesitant about posting the suspension notice that you received from ebay.

You brought your story here so all I want is a bit of proof that you were actually suspended for the reason you gave. I'm not asking you to post anything else or a user name of the other person, nowhere did I ask you to do that.

darlingmillionaire - I think you may have read what kiara was saying wrong. She hleps a lot of people on the boards, and she was trying to help you

(didn't mean to speak for you kiara )

I simply had a piece of information that might be useful to those of you that deemed it so and choose to have it so I shared my personal situation with you. It was never my intent to anyones time nor energy, spreading the “urban legend” that some believe it is. I'd love to have kiara's help and I was honest in the reason they gave me. It's just that simple.

It's not that simple. Without you posting the actual suspension notice with the real reasons from ebay here it will just remain "urban legend", won't it?

I've been here long enough to know that anyone can say anything but unless they back it up with some proof it doesn't mean anything at times.

Why won't you post the suspension notice?

To be very clear for you - I am not going to allow myself to be open for any "misuse" by anyone kiara, and I know you can appreciate that, by posting a private letter sent to me by eBay. I hope to be back on the board someday and would not want to jeapordize that situation.
So, for you, I suppose it will just have to remain Urban Legend. It is just that simple.

darlingmillionare, you can post it and xxxxx out personal information. People are asking because they want to disect it andmaybe fins clues to what happened and what to do next.
One thing I would advise is that your forward alll the letters from this woman to ebay- starting with the one where she asked you to sell outside. And the ones where she threatened you and boasted.
And we share bad buyers id's plenty times, so we can be aware of these people.

If you'll look at anyone's feedback record you'll see many NARUed sellers and buyers and some have fairly high feedback ratings. Most are NARUed for not paying their ebay bill. I don't think it's correct to assume the NARUed sellers were from this person turning them into ebay for off-site sales.

I certainly understand about XXX'ing out personal information, but I'm not leaving myself open for ANY issues by posting a private letter sent to me by eBay. Come on, reverse the issue - if it was any of you, you would protect yourselves as well. Secondly - AuctionAce - I didn't "assume". That would not be right - I checked. In fact one of them is a user currently selling on eBay and she had an interaction with this buyer. For all of you who doubt my sincerity; I'm sorry. This was not meant for that - it was meant for help. As posted ealier - if you'd like this users ID - write me off the board and you may "see" for yourselves. I'm off for the day guys so thanks for all the different opionions and help!

ebay has certain rules and when there are suspensions they use a standard form letter to match the scenario.

I won't believe any of your story unless you post that standard form letter. As Dragonmom said, you can remove your personal e-mail from the letter.

I have my suspicions that the suspension was over a Vero matter as wgm pointed out.

Your reluctance to post it and your reasons why don't make any sense to me.

I would like to see the letter also, as I and others are sellers, and If you can do a good service and save our butts, then

A big Thank you for your help. !!!!

But your excuses for not posting the letter is just not adding up ???
You make it seem like a very close family member sent you the letter ?? Remember ebay is only a venue ??
A machine/computer sent that note, NOT your best friend.

I have been on ebay for several years, sold outside of ebay and sold threw ebay, even on yahoo.Never any problems, and I have had my share of nut cases, as we all have.

Lets see the letter.

yep, urban legend still stands....

I just can't believe with all the other problems ebay has they are going to "trick" someone in to selling off site....

I believe Ebay would, if somebody made an easy case.
I also believe there's more to this story, (darlingmillionare) is being too reluctant to show the facts!

Definitely more to the story, there usually is. We almost always only see one side of the coin.

I agree.

I looked at her auctions, and there certainly are a lot of Vero and keyword spamming issues. Nice items, though

Also, she made this statement at the end of her first post...

"~ a sadder, wiser, and panicking single mother of one who was living on her eBay because a childs insulin is expensive~"

Did anyone else look at her auctions? She sells a good amount of diabetic supplies - just thought it strange that maybe her child would need them.

I looked at her wallet auctions, since she said the customer was outbid on a wallet - most of her auctions had one bid. A few auctions had multiple bids - but none of the bidders had over 600 feedback. So no luck finding the mysterious psycho bidder LOL

I also looked at some of her auctions and keyword spamming is rampant. I don't believe this story at all and I think she got booted for Vero problems and keyword spamming and may have ignored warnings before.

Others have put letters that they have got from ebay and taken out the personal information so I don't buy into this fairy tale sob story about selling off ebay.

Good work, wgm.

Is there a correlation between sellers that can't back up stories here and the fact that they have offspring with medical problems? There was another one here just a week or so ago. Things that make me go hmmmmmmmmm ??

There is nothing in the TOS that prohibits a seller from selling to a buyer that contacts them.

Restraint of Trade and Interference with Business relationship are just two causes of action that come to mind.

And as for darlingmillionare's reason for suspension-- "nuttin but smoke".

darlingmillionares claim is very fishy.

Ebay doesn't just suspend a seller for selling outside of ebay, they will suspend the buyer as well if they participate in the transaction. So far, there has been no credible info posted to back darling's claim and is clearly fraudulant.
