stopwhining - no, not at all. The price was about the same as I get them at the "gold card sale" at GNC (once a month sale). I have just been incredibly busy with Christmas and was trying to save some time...so much for that! LOL

Not that it makes a difference, but I would just like to add that I have done the majority of my Christmas shopping on eBay (and online) this year. Most of the sellers I have worked with have been absolutely terrific.

Some of the s/h charges I paid were higher than what they should have been, but the overall price and convenience of getting the items justified it. I accepted the s/h charge and didn't complain - and left the sellers positive feedback. Honestly? I wish I could charge handling fees like some I have paid and get away with it! But I knew up front, accepted the terms, and had no complaints.

I, by no means, am a perfect seller. I do the best I can. I have missed shipping a package or two on time, and when that has happened, I have upgraded the shipping to help compensate for my shortcoming. This seller could have done this - and actually avoided everything because then the package would not have had Media Mail postage on it. I would have dropped a line to the seller about the misuse of the Priority Box, left a positive, and it would have been a "done deal".

The Priority Box and Media Mail postage were pretty much icing on the cake for the slow shipping. The proverbial straw is the lack of customer service and replies to emails.

the package arrived promptly???

Paid for on December 6, shipped on December 15 (NINE days after payment received), and arrived on December 19 - TX to SC

But yes, I did save time and sales tax And the next sale with GNC is a week away, much closer now than when I ordered these LOL

Yes, I think it's low that the seller is ignoring you. Makes us all look bad! I could never ship like that because I'd be too afraid of being caught! Somehow, someway my mother at least would find out (I'm 47 and still can't hide things from her). Now I understand the Paypal thing. I didn't know you could do that. Good thing to know. I've been lucky in buying in that I've never run across this. I've had things come in inside out Priority boxes, but even those looked to be recycled and not new boxes. I don't know that the PO's stance is on that since they've gotten their money off the first use of the box.

Good luck to you and sorry you are having such a problem with this seller. Hope I never run across them!

cheryl - funny you should mention the recycled Priority boxes, because that is the first thing the Postmaster here looked at! He said that it was alright to use a "previously-used" box turned inside out - I didn't know that

I'm with you on my mother finding out everything! LOL I never understood the "mother intuition" thing til I had my little boy.

OT, it's been a very stressful week for me too - my little boy is 6, and I have never been away from him other than when I worked an outside job. My father is from Texas, and took my child - my baby! - to Texas for a week!! LOL They are visiting several different places all over Texas and a few in Oklahoma, so many different flights for me to keep up with. They left on Wednesday morning and won't be back til Christmas Eve morning...so to say the least, I am getting tons of listings done, the house is spotless - heck, even getting my inventory done for end of the year! Most importantly, getting all his Christmas presents almost daily so good thing he's not here!

I wish all of you a very beautiful holiday, filled with much love and happiness. Even though I haven't agreed with some of you who have posted here, I still respect all of you and your opinions...and wish all of you much success in the coming year

(that's another thing - having my child gone gets me all sappy LOL)

Wait until he's old enough to move out! Mine moved out in October, but thankfully he's coming back home! It wasn't as easy as he thought. He's 19, but still my baby. My daughter is 23 and has a 5-1/2 year old girl that I adore. They live right down the street so it's not so bad there. I told my son he can move out again if it's close enough for me to see him. Believe it or not, you never stop worrying about them!

He'll be home soon!
