As long as the increases are only in small increments I doubt that most sellers are going to complain too much. Psychologically it is sort of like the frog in the pot with slowing rising water temperature. He endures and does not jump out until it is too late. Besides there are alway new sellers who were never aware that fees were ever raised.

Raising the listing fees from $.30 to $.35 doesn't sound like much, but that is a 17% price increase.

Rising fees is sort of like the price of rising cigaretts. This ebay thing is a habit that many can not break. All this time spent lising items, packaging them up, going to Post Office, people not sending in their money, high Fees, etc-etc. The smoker says I know I should quit because this is not good for my health. But when the price of Cig. gets to certain number I am going to quit. AAAhhh 5 cent a pack don't hurt I will smoke a little bit longer. Some people just can,t let go.

This is really an across the board fee hike. The reduction in store fees is nothing. Ebay stores have been a such a total failure, no one is keeping them anyway. Even at 2 cents a listing, it isn't worth having a store. I have many items that I must list on the higher end and the fees for those items jumped big time nearly 50%. From $3.30 to $4.80 per listing. Problem is, even in my area there is more competition which in turn will drive prices down to the level that you cannot make a profit. Especially with the falling STR %. Someone wrote, it is a good time for a cleansing. That maybe true, but at what expense? How many sellers of quality items can afford to continue at this pace?

hey hey! did they lower gallery insert fee?

cuz its not 25 cents anymore! its 1 cent!

yay?

hey I'll take it. those gallery fees eat up the prices. I guess they want people to post a picture from now on.. and possibly a stupid subtitle too.. argh. 50 cents for that.
