But I see some improvement. I now get Search and I get the listings but everytime I click on one of the listings "Page cannot be displayed" comes up. They must be fiddling with something to "make it better"

Here in NY we can't get into My EBay and we can't get into about half our auctions ... but some of them are showing up. Nice. Needless to say we have about 10 auctions up tonight ... ALL with bids, naturally! Yikes!

micmic66 - I mostly lived in Ithaca, but was in graduate housing at SUNY at that time. I guess technically I was in Vestal. That was the only time in my life I heard the emergency broadcast signal on the radio, and not hear "this is a test" - I remember the day before quite well, it was very sunny. Looking back, it was a fun experience, definitely interesting. I got a lot of work done for a few days, so that was good. No internet to play on in those days except in a computer lab on campus, which was closed. I love that area of the country, hope to go back in the near future just to visit...
That was 4 months before I got married, glad I was not part of the statistics of having children exactly 9 months later lol

I was living in a small apartment at the time in Binghamton. My little 4x4 pickup was worthless, in fact I got it stuck trying to get it into one of the designated parking lots the city had everyone putting thier vehicles into....if you could. That was some storm and we have not had one comparable to it since. As far as coming back to visit....do so at your own risk! Things have really gone downhill here, I retreated to the hills and now live outside the limits in the town of Conklin...
