That would be the one. Otherwise known as "He who has not dealt with non-disclosure agreements."

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Lindajean, you know whats funny? I could almost believe there is an 'unspoken' fee list quota they way ebay operates with a corporate type partiality toward their customers, we, the sellers. Ref: FB/FB removal. The whole he said/she said thing. We decide. Oz has spoken. Or who gets what spot on the same paid for featured placement on the home page? How does that get decided? Surely some financial aspects must be considered? So although you see me as shrewder than I appear to be, it is often my guilessness that saves me, as well as opens up things for me and those around me.

I would imagine they'd take it easier on someone who generates a lot of listing fees/fvf fees before they consider insulting them and pulling their PS rank? If that is such a thing to be insulted over. I dont know...?

Fenix, I can understand your reasoning.
I hastily posted something to Tomwillie later wished I didnt, out of thinking he unprovokingly ridiculed me. But, comes a time I have to remember this is a public forum and much as I enjoy spending my time here and find it very informative -- its not lost on me that I wouldnt know 'none-of-ya' if I bumped into you at a public airport, so same as any public place, I've try to take it all with less seriously and reserve judgments as much as possible.

nero - i dunno about ebay's reluctance to pull PS status...they moved me down a level the second my sales dropped below silver level last summer..I was kind of insulted at the time but now realize NO BIG DEAL - they offer the same level of useless support to silvers as they do to bronze, they just offer it 24/7 instead of business hours.

I am still waiting to hear why my listings showed that my TOS were that I accepted wire transfers on eBay Germany!!!!! Last I heard, in GERMAN, was that they would let me know in 24-48 hours 10 days ago! LOL. I am not holding my breath!

Neglus - because that is considered a German equivalent of one of the options that you accept. Basically they translated your US notated options into the German equivalent. If you check your auctions in the UK it will say that you accept postal orders as opposed to money orders. This is a big problem since Postal Orders cannot be cashed in the US.

I think I may have been misinterpreted when I wrote about the listing fee quota for powersellers. This is not an official quota in their TOS as they do say it is based upon sales. However, when someone can list like made and have poor sales for a period of time and still qualify for PS status, you have to wonder.

Ace was always knocking fluffy's auctions and suddenly he started sucking up to fluffy for weeks on end and then one day she slapped him and he turned on her like a snake.
The doofus should talk. He is the king of the worthless sports cards and school yearbook auctions.

In all fairness, Ace has brought links here from other boards like OTWA and eBay and some of the info has been worth reading. If it wasn't for him sharing it we may have not found out about it.

Hey Neglus, one good thing about ebay is the goal is laid out for you, but you can still make your money and go about your merry way if you choose not to participate in reaching or maintaining that goal. *I think* I would feel demoted for a maybe a minute too, if the PS status went away but really all I want to do is induldge myself in what I find pleasurable (which is shopping and finding neat stuff) and make some money and while I am at it.

As posted here before seems the whole PS thing is way overrated anyway.
