I loved how they edited the episode having Kel say how the only person he trusts is Maralyn then at the end she voted him off! LOL!

I could NOT watch them eating those bugs and whatever else. I would have gotten kicked off the "island" if it had been me. No way.

We are rooting for Amber who is a local girl. So far she has been very quiet. They haven't even interviewed her yet!

Like: Amber, Rodger & Colby

Dislike: Jerri, Jeff & Kimmi

I agree - Jerri and Kimmi are possibly two of the most annoying people ever. Hoping they get booted soon.

Saw Kel on The Early Show today, and he insinuated that Jerri is just there to make drama to further her acting career. He clearly despises her, although who can blame him.

The producers should have known Jerri would do high drama to "further" her career being she is an actress. I expected as much. Reminds of that MTV show "The Real World" back in I believe Season Two, the most annoying person ever was this girl named Beth. She was an actress as well and played the part. They actually invited her to participate in their Real World/Road Rules challenge where she was just as bad if not worse than before!

THERE'S one scene caught on tape for "Survivor II" you won't see on the air. Insiders say that after days of subsisting on rice, the hungry and cranky contestants began to suspect that one man who kept sneaking off into the bush was cheating by secretly eating food he had smuggled in. After telling the producers of their suspicions, they searched through the suspect's belongings, but found nothing. Then they arranged to follow the suspect to his hiding place with a camera crew and catch him in the act. But when the trap was sprung, the suspect wasn't eating-he was pleasuring himself. "He'll never do it again," laughed our source. "He's traumatized."

Oh man, that poor guy! Goes off into the bushes to do his "thang" (no pun intended) and gets busted by a camera crew? Sheesh.

Bunnicula,
Just tuned back in to this. Told you I couldn't type. Sometimes I can't think either, too worried about the typing.

JamesO,
All I got to say. Well I better not say it.
I'm just thinking of a good source of protein.

Hey Maui!

This would explain Maralyn's flip-flop on her vote against Kel. I guess it is more accepted to "talk" about finding privacy to do the act than to *allegedly* actually do it. And is it is more accepted for a female than a male?

According to some circles in the Original Survivor apparently two guys had a fling while on the island. And of course there were whispers about lesbianism which was discussed one time on the show itself. Again according to a little birdie, apparently one of the women were rumored to be a lesbian....

Missed 2 new pages of this thread while I was off tending to RL.
JERRI has GOT to goooooooooooo... yuck blech ptooey...
Also still don't like Kimmi.
And Jeff seems just a little too woosy to make it anywhere near the final cut.
Ditto for Keith the mahvalous chef that had everyone gagging with simple rice.
And Rodger seems fairly nice, but he's too dam dumb to last.

I like Alicia.
I like that tall dude, tho his name escapes me... he's funny.
I like Tina the nurse... felt bad when she ralphed cos someone was making the ralph sound while she was trying to eat that deesgusting slimy thing, whatever it was.

Didn't see Rosie (blech), but I did see Kel on Letterman last night....I was REALLY disappointed that Dave didn't ask about Kel's "playin for the Yankees"..I truly thought that if ANYone would bring it "up", it would be Dave..

I think Jerri will be History this week..layin around b*tchin bout everyone and everything, and doin DIDDLY to help out...spendin time workin on her movie star tan, and soakin in the river ...YUCK..

The tall guy is Mitch..he is a local boy (bout 50 miles away), and attended my Alma Mater..I don't think he has a chance to win, but he IS a cool and funny guy (I don't know him, but my Mom does, and loves him to death!! SHe was the Sec. in the Music Dept at school, and saw him daily for 4 years+)

For a minute I felt bad for Maralyn, then I remembered Kel.

Well, that was no surprise to me! After the last immunity challenge, I figured she'd go...bummer, I kinda liked her

Ok, this Jerri girl is REALLY starting to get under my skin...she's annoying, but she's playing the game

My favorite tribe is Kucha, and I was literally hanging off my seat at the end of the immunity challenge wanting so bad to stick my hand into the tv and pull the Kucha tribe over the line...had they not won, I feel Rodger would've been a goner...and he's my favorite! Did you see when he gave that girl the heart rock and told her her parent's have a lot to be proud of? I got misty...but I truly don't think he'll last...bummer.

I throughly enjoyed Survivor.I'm ready to gong this version.

If you were to merge the two Survivor series into a pool of thirty-two,not a single one of this group would make my final sixteen.
Predictable, boring and too much pandering to the camera.

How many ways can one run, tread water, build a fire and FISH?A strong cast was required to pull this off.Who are the cowboys here, and which ones are the indians?Good and evil make for a great battle.AND ya need PASSION!!These guys seem to be more suited for thumb wrestling.Ya need need to go down swinging your cutlass and attacking like pirates. Make love like a madman or hate with a vengeance!!Anything else fails to deliver. Wouldn't want to go to war with this bunch.

Like most sequels do,this one has fallen flat
on it's face.

Sheeeeeshhhhh! What a bunch of SNAKES those people are!!! I liked Tina, until she backstabbed MadDog. To be honest, I dont ANY of these people except Rodger. Elizabeth is fine, until she stabs him, too, which Im sure she will when it gets down to the nitty gritty. These people make Richard look like an angel and Susan look like a saint! Nasty nasty people backbiting and backstabbing. Sure sure..its for the money, but SHEESHHH!!!

And poor ol' dopey sweet Rodger. What a nice man, but he doesn't stand a chance. If his tribe had lost immunity, he'd have been a goner for sure...even tho Kimmi NEEDS to go.

Woe is me. They kicked off "Mad Dog" Marilyn. She was my favorite. They will be sorry they did that when time comes for the brain games.
Can't believe they didn't get rid of Mitchell. Bleck!

I can't believe Tina turned on the two people (Kel and Mad Dog)who were aligning with her, and amazingly the two people she voted for were voted off. I think she's lined up with Jerry and Coby.

RB: That site is hysterically funny! I don't watch the show but I loved reading the guy's synopses of the episodes.

Poor Kel. Not only was he booted, but I don't see him having much of a career in intelligence if he: A)Can't fit into a group; B)Can't sneak off into the dark without attracting an audience; C)Can't watch his own back when the people around him have shown themselves to be barracudas and D)Has really rotten timing.

I am so disappointed. Out off all them, MadDog was one of my favorites! I just can't believe that Tina backstabbed her just like that! I can't wait until the day comes that Tina goes (and she WILL go) so I can smile.
Ya know - on Survivor 1 I did NOT like Richard from the very beginning and he won - so I just know that the person that wins this one will be someone I do not like. I think to win this thing, you have to be conniving and backstabbing and those qualities don't endear me to people.
I want a show where the "good guy" wins - not the sleaziest.
Oh hell, I will still watch. Friends has become so predictable to me.

What I would like to see is a survivor with all the contestants 40 to 50 plus in age. I think it sucks that the majority are all young and semi buffed. The minority is older. Might be more interesting to have it the other way around, yes?

Im with you Nobs. And wouldnt it be just fine if Rodger DID win? No chance, but still, would be cool

Ok, I am going to get TOTALLY shallow here. But I think Colby "The Cowboy" is quite a looker! I can't help but pull for him to win! And am still a Rodger supporter. My dislikes have changed slightly. I still despise Jerri and Jeff but Kimmi wasn't too bad. She seemed to be pulling her weight and wasn't as obnoxious as usual. That chef guy (Keith?) is getting on my last nerve lately.

I seen "Mad Dog" on the CBS Morning Show. I think she is an attractive woman but a bit on a the strange side! Guess that is her appeal. I said before that Amber is a local girl. Our little newspaper had a reporter at her house watching the show with her and she was crying watching the show, remembering the time it happened. BTW, she is the young girl Mad Dog put her hat on before she left.
