Central California coast. It was so hot today, I had to drag the fans out of the garage and put them in the upstairs rooms. Started my garden today, too. Planted MAUI ONIONS! Yum!

Whats your weather and where are you?

The weather is cold, it snowed yesterday...

Where am I, I am hiding under my electric blanket...

...Maybe I'll do some jumping jacks with my bouncing buddies...

80 degrees here today in the Inland Valley of Southern California. Sky bright blue, and not a cloud in sight. Actually, as dry as it has been the last couple of years, we desperately NEED rain!

It is 80 odd degrees in Sth. East Queensland, Australia. We were at the stage that we desperately needed rain, but then the skies opened up and rained and rained until we had water everywhere, the river next to my house is twice the size it should be. I was worried for a little bit that we would be flooded out, but someone is looking after us. We have had two clear hot days but more rain is expected tonight or tomorrow for the rest of the week. I bet the rain doesn't take away our heat wave conditions.
maddienicks I can't wait to start lighting our fire, I love it, but it is still months away for me.

kiki...sorry to rub alittle more, but right now, its 10:46pm and I have my fan on high speed, sitting here in my sport top and shorts still, fixing to crawl into my cool sheets and aim that fan right at my head

(Tomorrow, the wind will start to blow from the WEST, which means the cold fog could roll in and it will get cold again and I will have to put my fan up for awhile longer).

So I'm weird I want it to rain, this is winter, darn it. It was too warm today. I get enough sunshine in the summer. What can I say I was born in Dec. in Chicago.

One thing about CA. the weather will change in a day or two. So I hope it will change to rain, and soon!

chococake: LOL! I went to Chicago in Jan 78, one of the coldest winters they ever had, and from Corpus Christi (think Fl). It hurt to go out and breathe!!! And it would have helped to have a coat.
I'm in Philly now, cold, (but anything under 70 is cold to me), and it's doing a cold rain thing right now, but no snow.

It has been a weeks warm spell here near Detroit with the temps going over freezing every afternoon for a few hours so the snow has melted down untill it is under knee high.

I won a storeage locker at auction last week and cleaned it out Sat. but it was only about 15 out and I got seriously chilled because my feet got cold. I went back Sunday when it was 30 out to sweep up a couple bags of trash and drop the keys in the box. That was easier and I wore warmer boots this time with felt liners and wool socks.

It was sad going through these people's stuff. Kind of like an estate sale. You can tell too much about peoples lives from what they put in a locker when they split up.

Greetings from Sunny South Florida
Blue skies and a crisp clear 74 degrees. The boys are in the pool, the dogs are on the patio napping. Drove to the Post Office with the sunroof open. Little League practice tonight. Perfect weather to run around and play ball!
If it makes you feel any better, we'll be covered with insect repellent ~ the mosquitos hang with us year 'round! You don't even want to know about the A/C bills!
Thanks for the snow pics! I lived in Chicago for 4 years and in New York for over a dozen years, I think I actually miss that white fluffy stuff! I don't miss driving in it, though!

Picture was taken 30 minutes ago, at 3:00 PM.

Six inches are predicted by 7:00 PM with a total of 12+ inches by morning.

Albany NY is over the horizon.

Maui -- it's a deal

Snowyegret -- I am in Berks County...we've got about a foot of snow...it's STILL comin' down!

It sure does look pretty! It's got everyone at a standstill, not too many folks out on the roads

Just took the dog out, he loves the snow. Funny part is, it's up to his shoulders and he has to hop to get anywhere, too funny!

Barry(chili sounds good)Barris, what time's dinner

snowyegret, my first thought was WOW, my second thought was WOW. I just can't imagine that much snow. We don't get snow where I live and the only time I have seen it was almost 22 years ago on my honeymoon. We had a ball playing in it and making snowmen, but I guess if I had to live with it all the time it would wear a bit thin.

Barry, it is too hot for chilli, I would prefer ice cream please.

kaffro, what can I say. Oh my just add Santa and a sleigh and you have the perfect Christmas card. It is beautiful.

Maui...if we get our solar pool heater installed tomorrow, we may be swimming by the weekend.

Now if I can only get this 80 degree weather to stick around, we might survive the winter.

Barry (snowman) Barris...I will have to have my nephew take a look at your pics. He's considering going to school in Schenectady next year and I'm trying to tell him about the winters. Although with a storm like this, I guess it doesn't really matter where you are in the northeast.
