Absolutely beautiul. I'm sitting on my enclosed patio with a wonderful breeze coming in thru the screens. And the cicadas are gone so no more loud noises from them.

What a great thread! Thanks for starting it, Upriver.
Okay, just for fun I kept a little tally and we have people all over the place.
From the Northwest - British Columbia, Vancouver and Portland, Oregon.
Working our way south - San Francisco Bay, the mid-California Coast, inland Central California and the San Jacinto mountains, which are east of Southern California.
Moving east we have Texas.
Farther on, several from the south - South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi (shall we call her MuggyMaggieMuggins? ) and a few from Florida.
Gotta change directions now... Up north, in New England we have a couple, plus one in Ontario and one in Minnesota.
Representing the Midwest, southwestern Ohio. I know there are others from that area... Where are they? They must be hiding...
Come out, you guys! Let us know what's going on weather-wise in your neck of the woods.

Here in the beautiful Tarheel State of NC it is hot (90's) and humid. Sure could use some rain. My tomatoes are wilting on the vine.

Back to me?
Today Vancouver at 4:20 pm is almost 80, with humidity 57%, clear, no wind to speak of. I was out selling at a flea market early this morning, but lasted in the full sun (cheap tables out behind the barn, no shade) only until noon, then couldn't take it anymore.
Slow there anyway, Dad's Day and all, thankfully my eBay auctions ending this afternoon are doing great guns, exceeding my hopes.

Beautiful day in S.E. Wisconsin. Took a ride to Lake Geneva where the boats and jet skies are out in full force. Weather not hot and not cool. Cooler near the lake. Love the 4 seasons....wouldn't trade them for anything....

Here in British Columbia we have had four accelerating days of heat -- today is apparently setting some records around here, with temperature currently about 80 degrees
Don't they measure the temp in Canada in Centegrade? That would make it about 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hey stonecold, sure feels that hot! When the keyboard starts melting, you know you're in trouble...
But I figure even tho I'm in Canada, since 95% of my customers are in the U.S., might as well report the temp in regular degrees, anyway, I'm kind of a dinosaur, metric never took hold with me very much, I still think the old way.
