I had never thought about a coffin being repossesed. But, I guess they have their share of deadbeats in that business also.

The coffin you describe, with the chrome and metal flake paint, sounds like an expensive one. Have you thought about what kind of reserve you're going to place on it when you list it? Also, if the price goes over a couple grand, will you offer a lay away plan ?

You're looking at a lot of dough there Jack for a coffin like that. Many bidders will be reluctant to go very high without knowing the exact condition since it's used. Sort of like buying a used car on Ebay Motors. You'll probably get more and much higher bids if you offer a lifetime warranty with it.

Jack, just remember to put a $2000.00 BIN on the auction. You may have a bidder that might not have time to wait for the end of a ten day auction.

i have only allowed a pickup one time. The buyer was a college student in France. Her sister was attending the college in the town next door(twin cities divided by a river). Her family was sending her a big care package and she asked if her sister could pick up the ornament she bought. My Dad was working at a grocery store a couple of mile from the school, so he took it with him and she picked it up the next day.

I would never allow someone to come to my home. It is too risky these days. And I have a mail order business, not a brick and mortar store.

Sounds great Jack. You can be the first to reach powerseller status selling coffins. The good part is, you won't have to deal with buyers remorse, and it it don't fit, or isn't comfortable, you won't have to worry about a neg. The downside is (no pun intended) you won't be able to develop a following of repeat customers.
