This is what I found when Googling MBNA. The letterhead on all announcements is BAC.
12. When will MBNA change its name to Bank of America?
Changes will occur gradually throughout 2006 and 2007. During the transition period you may receive correspondence with either MBNA or Bank of America brands, or in some cases, both.
When your account is converted to Bank of America, your accounts will be located in New Hampshire. If you are asked what state your accounts are located in for servicing or Online Banking enrollment, please indicate New Hampshire. However, you will be able to service your existing accounts in any Bank of America banking center.
MBNA personal and business accounts are now available through Online Banking from Bank of America, America's most popular Online Banking service.
I guess my accounts were transferred before yours, but all will be transferred shortly.

My card said MBNA ,but the statement does not say MBNA anywhere.
Oh well,who cares,a credit card is a credit card.
