Or is the lower FVF all we will get during the summer. I'm never ready for these cheaper listing days but this month I am so I guess that means we won't get it?

I'll bet we do since it's end of quarter and listings are way down. The FVF thing isn't so much of a sale as "seller relief" (or that's how they spun it at Ebay Live).

We have certainly had a lot more reduced listing days than we used to. For me, with the lack of bids, on my low price items, it's just not worth doing core listings except a few on the low listing price days, so the reduced fvf's are really not going to affect me at all, I would have preferred them lowered on store items which are so much higher.

I think if they did a free or at least a 10 cent listing day the would get the count way up!! Are you listening ebay???

I don't want a 20c listing day. I don't want another 6 million items cluttering up the site. I don't want 18 million items for the same exact number of shoppers on eBay. Without a concurrent number of additional buyers, it simply dilutes the marketplace.
The only reason the lower price listing day succeeds after the end of the year is that it is traditionally the best month for selling (in certain categories) both on and off eBay.
Count me as grouchy.

Ebay may have to do what car dealers do,roll out the incentives more often.
Bids are low, some sellers have already exited.
It is costing too much to launch a listing -40 cents listing fee,30 cents gallery fee,25 cents buy it now fee and then comes FVF,Paypal fee and shipping has gone up a lot,so where is the beef?
Oh,enlarging the photo is 75 cents.

In addition to the correction to Gallery price being 35 cents, BIN fees vary, they are not a set price.

I listed a handful of items on the last 20 cent day...
I got my invoice this month and see I have been charged up to $2.40 for each listing. Are we supposed to wait and be credited (it seems I remember reading something about that at the time), or start yelling now?

I got my reduction immediately. I always check on my charges before I press the "list now" button. Did you by any chance list for fixed auctions? They were not included.I relisted a couple of items that I had previously listed on fixed, and realised when I saw I was being charged the full price.

Maybe not! I am surprised but I would have expected it to start today if they were going to have one - they usually don't start them on Fridays or weekends and any later will be too late to boost quarter numbers. Probably just as well - with all the search tests going on, it's a crap shoot whether your item will be seen or not

Neglus - that's exactly what I was thinking.
Maybe they will do it next week as they will be expecting a decrease in listing that will end on the 4th of July.

twig125silver, Did you make the mistake some others did? eBay sent out the .20 cent listing notice on a Tuesday and the actual .20 cent listing day was Thursday.

toolhound~ After a little research, YEP! I listed them a day early! I'll bet they did that on purpose! Thank God (or whoever) I didn't list alot!
And you know...I won't make that particular mistake again!

Buy it now fee varies??
I think Ebay should make it free as they get their fee faster and we get paid faster .
Sales are slow,Ebay should share our pain and lower its fee.
It would not lower fees,it would just do what Detroit does, roll out more and more incentives.
Come to think of it,what would happen to Ebay without small sellers like us?importers/wholesaler,department stores have boring stuff!

Not this quarter end but they are giving a special pre 4th of July offer. A whole 15 cents off gallery for June 26 and June 27. Wow!

Well, I was going to list tomorrow and Wednesday anyway so might as well use gallery for a few cents less than normal.
