LOL! Must be. I love the "small number of rules" thing. What's even funnier is that the Republicans make just as many rules as the Democrats only theirs benefit the other side of the economic fence. Depending upon which side of the fence you're on, the grass really isn't greener on the other side. It's simply Astroturf.

Whitman said she and McCain share a philosophy of scaling back the role of government. a point of view partly shaped by her EBay experience. "The EBay model is very Republican in its essence -- it's about making a small number of rules and getting out of the way while not overtaxing the community," she said.

If I had known about the ignore button, I would have just used it and not brought up the subject. Eauction, it was not your post that really started it, I take responsibility. I was not aware we could email someone directly, and would have just done so if I'd known that.
I love some of funny taglines here (although I've never understood Google does not hire stupid people) - this is a great bunch of people and many have a wicked sense of humor. I just dreaded the political season and didn't want to deal with some of the tag lines I've seen in the past. Politcal tag lines are like bumper stickers - annoying and they are never going to change anyone's views - and I believe they are meant to be annoying. But now I know how to rid myself of this annoyance, I will do so.
As for Fluffy, I believe hormone therapy may be in order, as I believe the extreme aggression may be due to menopause.

An Ebay spokeman when defending Ebay against Tiffany said Ebay has 13,000 rules.
I did not make up that piece of information.
As to analogy,Ebay.Gulag,Great Wall,Giza Pyramid,we have to take into consideration a REINCARNATION does not imply everything is business as usual.
I am sure the folks in Gulag, the draftees working on the building of the Great Wall or the Giza Pyramid did not have access to internet or sell merchandise to the public.
This is just a tagline on a free public forum,if it bothers you, then ignore all my postings or just skip reading the tagline and move on to the next posting!
Where does it stop?
*
Gulag-a Soviet era concentration camp is now reincarnated as EBAY with 13,000 rules.
Feel free to substitute Gulag with your own favorite experience-building the Great Wall,Giza Pyramid etc.
