no ,there are not a bunch of nancy pelosi loving liberals here.
KILL someone is texas ,and we have a special prize for you, called lethal injection

Here is a prime example ,the way the law works here ,sorry but obama ,could not save this one

A Mexican National convicted of the brutal rape and killing of a teenage girl in 1995 shouted, “Viva Mexico!” just before he died at a Texas prison.

Efforts by Humberto Leal’s attorneys to halt the execution fell short, with the U.S. Supreme Court turning back a stay request and Texas Gov. Rick Perry refusing to grant a pardon. He was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m. local time.

Details of the murder were particularly gruesome.

Adria Sauceda, 16, his victim, was found naked by authorities, according to court documents.

“There was a 30- to 40-pound asphalt rock roughly twice the size of the victim’s skull lying partially on the victim’s left arm,” court documents read. “Blood was underneath this rock. A smaller rock with blood on it was located near the victim’s right thigh.”

A “bloody and broken” stick roughly 15 inches long with a screw at the end of it was also protruding from the girl’s vagina, according to the documents.

{snip}

the Obama administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stop Texas , asking the court to delay the execution for up to six months to give Congress time to consider legislation that would enforce the U.N. treaty

(Also We don't believe in the 9th circuit court of appeals)..........Appeals from the nine Western states of the circuit dominated the high court’s docket, as usual, supplying more than 30% of the 84 cases taken up by the justices during the term that ended last month. The Supreme Court reversed or vacated 19 of the 26 decisions it looked at from the 9th Circuit .

(what a bunch of jerks...............)

Bottom line....none of the clowns in Washington are looking out for our nations best interest. We could give everyone in this country free healthcare with money to spare with what we have spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan oh yeah almost forgot our dear friends in Pakistan. My bad, the politicians are concerned with the bottom line...their own! God Bless The United Corporations of America!

What this person did, and most people do not question whether he was guilty or not, was horrific and rightful punishment was necessary. That you gloss over that fact and attack liberals is a perfect example of just how shallow and despicable you are willing to become in order to attack others. This apparently is the Texan way which is why people don't want to hear Rick Perry make threats against other Americans.

I stand behind my belief that Texas should secede from the Union. If you can't follow the laws of this country, if you want to ignore the court system then obviously you have no reason to be part of this great country.

hwa- This is exactly what is wrong in this country. What you just stated does not tell the truth behind the problem and what Obama actually said.

Obama didn't just say he would allow these illegal immigrants to stay. What he said was that there were not enough resources to deport everybody, so they are going to focus on those who have committed felonies.

If you have the resources to deport 100,000 illegals each year, but there are 200,000 each year that enter in addition to the ones already here, please tell me how you would deal with the problem?

There are two sides to this. You have one side that cries about illegal immigration being such a major problem, but these are the very same people who don't want to spend any money dealing with it.

Republicans love to point fingers at Obama and the Democrats for the problem, but this has been a problem for several Administrations and Obama has done far more about illegal immigrants than GW and Clinton did.

You want to stop illegals, then support harsh laws against companies and people who hire them along with strong deportation laws. How many businesses would risk a $100,000 fine per illegal to save a few bucks?

But who stands in the way of laws that will provide these harsh fines??? Mostly Republicans. They do nothing but protect businesses... and these are businesses that are stealing jobs from Americans and giving them to illegals.

On the opposite side you have some Democrats who think illegal immigrants should be welcomed with open arms. They are wrong as well.

Do you really believe these undocumented workers take jobs away from the Americans?
Picking lettuce, mopping floor and emptying trash cans ?
A friend of mine is from China, she married an American Chinese ,she does not need to work but recently she decided to get out of the house and work as a chef in a Chinese restaurant.
On Labor day weekend, she reported to work at 9 am Saturday and did not get out of the restaurant until Sunday 1 am.
16 hours on her feet in a hot Chinese kitchen, any one who has seen or been in a Chinese restaurant kitchen can tell you what it is like on a busy day !
STirfried dishes in a wok is quick and tasty, the tempertaure can get up to 70,000 BTU or sometimes 100,000 BTU.
Many of the Chinese restaurants these days cant afford Chinese help, they are now using Hispanic workers.
Almost all the workers in the fresh fish counter in Asian supermarkets in Houston are hispanic !
And we cry how expensive our grocery bill has become .

For those who are not so bright but still sober -
A study showed Chinese women in poor rural area who use cheap unrefined canola oil to cook in a poorly ventilated kitchen ,when oil was poured into a heated wok,it emits a chemical when inhaled can cause lung cancer.
Some of these women who never smoke in their life ended up with lung cancer.

It was also pointed out to you that there is another forum available to you if you want political "discussion". If you choose to inflict your "thoughts" where they are not appropriate, you really have no right to complain about the response.

Last week I heard an interview on the radio where an analyst thought Perry wouldn't make it past a month. I thought that was a bit optimistic. Then I heard the tape with Perry and the Bank of America executive where he says to Perry, "We'll help you out".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4AMMibLyOY

Then there is the AT&T merger with T Mobile that Perry is pushing hard on. Ironically, AT&T purchased $18,000 worth of Perry's book, among other kickbacks he gets from them.

People are fed up with this type of garbage from politicians... especially Texas politicians. There is an awful bad taste that Americans still have from the last moron from Texas.

I think Perry will be out by Halloween, especially if Palin and Ryan get in the race.

it really does not matter, about corruption anymore ,look at Obama and Tony Rezko

now-indicted political fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko purchased adjoining parcels in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago. The parcels — one containing a house and the other undeveloped land — were owned by University of Chicago doctors Fredric Wondisford and Sally Radovick (husband and wife).
Obama paid $1.65 million for his home ($300K less than the asking price of $1.95 million, but it was the Obama’s third and “best offer“) while Rezko paid $625,000 for the adjacent, undeveloped lot.
Both closed on their properties on the same day.
Obama wanted to increase the size of his side yard and in January 2006, Obama paid Rezko $104,500 for a strip of his land – about one-sixth of the parcel and costs one-sixth of the Rezko’s original purchase price of $625,000. (Here is an excellent bird’s-eye view of the Obama and Rezko properties and how they were divided).
In 2006, Tony Rezko was indicted for fraud and was convicted in 2008.
In 2007, Tony’s wife, Rita, sold the remaining lot for $575,000.

One of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters hits the problems facing America today.

Kevn Kinney of the Atlanta based band, Drivin' N Cryin' sings about all of the problems facing America.
