I'm gonna send you my old delapidated Gateway. It needs more memory, a new video card, a new battery, and the hard drive needs to be reformatted. Good luck with it, and please get it back to me within 3 days, you techie...

Got a bunch of new inventory today, plus FREE incentive-type stuff. Love free stuff. Gonna go write my ads and list.

Helen,

Toke knows perfectly well what you said and what you meant. She's having a little fun with you, in her odd way.

By the way Toke;

"It saddens me that we're always so ready to believe the worst".

High hilarity, coming from you of all people. Did you choke?

Krs,
Well she succeeded in confusing the hell out
of me. Of course, that doesn't take much
effort.

No, it doesn't. Perhaps that's why Toke chose you. Her abilities have not developed satisfactorily.

I know! LOL I load an auction then pop back in. The funny thing is that I'm in such a bad mood that my auctions are reading something like "Hey It's just a damned book - if you don't want it then get the hell outta here!!!!" Well, not that bad but I'm certainly not making anything sound very appealing...

Sigh. This whole case disheartens me. What is going to be accomplished by sending a 14-year-old child to prison for the rest of his life? I'll tell you, nothing, except to turn him into a hardened, maladjusted predator as an adult.

Children who commit serious crimes need rehabilitation, not lengthy prison terms. Or has the juvenile justice system abandoned rehabiltation in favor of warehousing, like this country does for adult offenders?

Adult inmates receive no rehab at all, they are merely numbers and their ranks continue to swell to feed the ever-growing prison industrial complex system. In Indiana, our bubba state legislature slashed funding for k-12 schools and higher education this week. Guess where they increased spending for the next two years? Yep, for more prisons. The state DOC is the single largest state employer here.

It makes me sick.

I am saddened by this Florida case.

I agree with you, Badu. Also, that kid is big, fat even. He probably had no idea of the force he could exert with actions that to him may have been as much play as meanness.

But they convict him of murder.
