A wombd post? For those not in the "know", a post got wombd and it was FUNNY, hence the LOL!

Over in the Moderator's corner, jamesoblivion was told that my original post was womd because it was considered to be an insult.

I hereby apologize to President Bush if my post in any way implied he needs to wax in order to wear a bikini.

Oh, my. I can only say that it's my heartfelt desire that our President DOES wax when he wears his bikini. I would be seriously discomfited if he didn't...

I see that my second post has also been deleted!

Ah! Just checked the Moderator's Corner.

Bobbysoxer: I apologize if my post(s) were insulting to you personally (though how they would be, I don't know).

It also seems the TPTB feel my post was "off-color." Hmmm. No more, I would have thought, than many that have appeared and remained up here in the RT. In fact, the post(s) themselves were not off-color at all and I am in no way responsible for the dirty minds of others.

bunnicula

I appreciate your apology but it wasn't necessary.

I had peeked into the thread shortly after hepburn posted and saw the humor (thought instantly of the Saturday Night Live skit with one of the "charactors" on the news segment drawing pictures related to the candidates -during the primaries- and Bush was the wax region.....

Thanks Marty for being considerate of my feelings but I shared the humor with everyone. I guess I should have taken the time to post but was too busy. Next time I will stop and post a smiley. Gotta get my chores done before the Academy Awards start!

Thanks everyone for a good laugh! I needed that!

I >>SHUDDER<< to think that Bush would ever be viewed as just a wonderful guy! Sorry, but that view is preempted IMO by his real life job of making Americans miserable for the full benefit of corporations.

Yes, you do have quite a challenge, bunnicula. Perhaps if you sprinkled *'s about liberally in your sentences that would help spice things up a bit.

Just for the record:

In the Moderator's Corner grannyfox posted:
"Just so as it doesn't get lost...I did make a complaint...to Diana, not Mark or Marty...though I did cc. each Mark and Marty..."

Bobbysoxer...

And your point regarding my post that looks quite out of context here...

You do realize that I started the thread in the MC...thus stating my complaint in quite clear language. In addition, I sent the same to anyone who came up in my Yahoo addy bar when I typed Diana'a in. I also included Marty as I thought it only right to let him know too.

Any way...in easy to understand language...the only complaint I made about Bunnicula's post is that it was zapped. I made mention of my displeasure here, in the MC and by email. What you quote is a post mentioning my complaint that started that thread in the MC...

I am absolutely sure that is what you were indicating by your above post...because I know that my opening post in that thread made it absolutely clear on what I thought about it all...

Huh?!?!?!? General headscratching going on. . .Oh - Grannyfox thought that Bobbysoxer was implying that what she meant by her post in the MC was referring to the post here, but actually she was referring to the deletion of the thread as opposed to the thread. Clear as mud!

Yes clear as mud

According to grannyfox's post on March 26, 2001 in MC:

"bunnicula...I kinda complained about your post...I bitched about it being zapped"

she appears have been the person who complained about bunnicula's post and Marty deleted it then grannyfox complained about that.

There were "implications" and "accusations" in the MC thread that were pointing the finger at moi. That I was the one who complained.

I attempted to set the record straight and to hold people accountable for their -in my opinion- "made in haste" posts but MichelleG deemed their posts didn't violate the guidelines. So be it.

I also wanted to set the record straight that I welcome diversity and am not a dictator as some have accused me of being for the last month or so.

I never saw bunicula's post before it was zapped...I never compained about it...and when it was returned I laughed like hell about it.

I never implicated nor accused anyone about complaining. I figured it was zapped because of an itchy trigger finger.

I never said, inplied or any thing else that I had complained about bunicula's post...it does not take a rocket scientist to know that if I start a several paragraph post in the MC bitching because a post was deleted that I was not complaining about the post being made to begin with.

bunnicula...I kinda complained about your post...I bitched about it being zapped
indicates that the only thing I complained about was the post having been zapped.

This is a perfect example of taking words (quote) out of context and using it to support something that has no basis in reality.
