Hi Christopher, I never, ever used WBN, automatic or otherwise, so that doesn't answer why this problem is happening.
It is a problem with AW's system and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
There are enough things to remember without having to uncheck the checkout feature.
Thank you

Hello Diana and thanks for your help. I have never had the auto-WBN enabled. Earlier today I put 6-8 auctions in Pending to launch later this evening (three-four hours from now). This was AFTER I checked and the checkout feature WAS NOT ENABLED AT THAT TIME, yet -- every one of the auctions has the pitch for Checkout.

Hello,
There is an error in the checkout system that is causing items that you scheduled, then unschedule, to have the checkout option checked off on them. This only happens when you unschedule an item from the pending section.
Would this issue apply to your auctions? IE: have you been unscheduling any items and later listing them?

I also wanted to add that the error to which Christopher is referring (where items that were scheduled, then unscheduled and edited, then launched would get the checkout button in them) will be fixed tomorrow morning.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your continued support and patience.

This checkout button also showed up - out of the blue - in two re-lists I did tonight. (The check out button did not appear in the original listings.)
I don't want it in my listings.
When I wentto each listing, and manually deleted the code for the checkout button, the sizing of my listings got all screwed up.

Hello AW folks. It appears that I am not the only one with this problem. I went to post this info and saw this link. I too have the checkout feature appearing in my auctions. I have never activated this feature and don't want it and yet it is showing up in my auctions. I don't know how to turn it off if it is already turned off - cancelling my listings and resubmitting them probably won't help. Please resolve this ASAP. How do I ensure that it will not appear in all of my auctions scheduled to list this weekend?

I'm having the same problem on both of my accounts. The checkout option is checked on every auction I try to relist. I have never used WBN, inventory or any of the other PMS options. And I certainly never turned on the checkout function. After the Ebay checkout bomb, the word " checkout " is a turnoff for me. As it stands, every auction I have to relist, I have to edit to uncheck the box. If I forget, I have to go to the live auction and manually edit out the checkout HTML code. Rather than take a chance on screwing up an auction by having that button show up when I don't want it to, I've decided it is safer to delete all my closed unsold auctions and recreate them from scratch when I want to list an unsold item. I realize it's a lot of work, but if AW can't fix the problem, I'll do it myself.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Hi, I'm also having trouble with checkout also. I haven't changed a thing in years on this site and this has been happening for the last two weeks for me on and off. Item # 2613731585 any help would be appricatied.

Hello,
I have reviewed all of your accounts. Had you been scheduling your listings for launch? In all of the items I reviewed that were in some of your Pending sections, check out did not show. I have also simulated relist and checkout was not selected. Let me know if the problem is still happening.

Hi, yes, I schedule all of my auctions and thought that I had not checked checkout. I had someone win something off of me and was a bit preterbed whe checkout didn't work for him and he thought it was MY fault. Had to explain that it was you guys that made the mistake. Thanks again.

Hello,
We actually just released a fix this morning that should prevent these problems mentioned in the latter part of this thread. We recommend that you go to Post Sale Management Options, double check all of your settings for checkout, and save them once again just to be sure.
