Hepburn, it beats a lot of things I've been called over the years! LOL! In high school my best friend called me "lead-but*".There is a story there as well, one I am not going to tell!

Timeworn, but not raw.
Spazmodeus,
I really did not know that you had such strong feelings about this matter. Now that I do I suppose that it's only fair to tell you that I am not the krs which you originally knew. I am, in fact, the third krs, the first having passed the username and password on to my father who then, in his time, passed them to me.
This was done in the interest of continuity per the wishes of the original krs, my paternal great uncle.
I will, in turn, turn over the mantle to my son if he wishes it, and if he does not, to my nephew,if he care for it, the son of my step sister who also posts here under a name with which you are quite familiar by now.
Though I am bound by promise not to reveal the username of my step sister, I do hope that this disclosure serves to lessen the level of your angst.
Any chance you could mock up your last post for a gif where the type scrolls upward and recedes into the distance, a la the Star Wars preamble? It would be a great effect.

Spazmodeus,
Well, krs II probably could have, but I don't know anything about doing that stuff. He was the one given to the use of .gif posts.
I really do feel much better having finally told the truth in this. It's been quite a burden to maintain even a semblance of the personna of my forbears, and now perhaps I will be free of that sense of obligation.
My true nature is much more akin to yours and Jorchids than to either of the previous krs's.

Hello Jaime,
I hope that it wasn't you who was upset at my use of the reference to Luke in another thread. It was not directed to your post, but to stusi's premise.

sorry if I peeved anyone ~ I didn't realize you were marking your lists
I wasn't trolling for you to figure out who I am or who anyone else is .
I didn't change my name for any hidden reason, I've never been suspended or attacked for my posts, I just realized (a bit late) that it was foolish to post using my eBay ID .
No hidden agenda.
I think ZILVY hit it right on the head:
>>some are very open with their real names, places of work, where they live etc. but I don't fathom being in a fishbowl <<
I blundered when I started posting, not realizing how hateful that other posters can be ~ I didn't want any more assaults on my auctions yet I didn't want to leave the incredibly fun, friendly, intelligent cyber-pals I've made at AW. I consider many of you to be my co-workers and my friends . I appreciate both your insight and your humor .
I've never been ashamed of my ideas or opinions ~ but my livelihood shouldn't depend on it.
Yes, Helen, people gossip on the boards. Some people interfere with auctions, too . It can be pretty ugly when peoples true colors come through, showing a total disregard for others.
*stepping off my soapbox now*
My sincerest apologies (for any misinterpretation)
*walking out the door with my tail between my legs*
(they called me ZOOM in high school/college ~ always doing too many things at once acting like I drank about seven too many cups of coffee )

ummm...I wasn't planning on going anywhere ~ just exchanging friendly salutations responding to your "Bye Z".
MARTY took care of my other ID a few days ago...
methinks you're barking up the wrong tree.
sorry.
