Well I'm not surprised really. Just hoping that someone else might have got a go.
Thanks for the info anyway.

Kiki,
Absolutely agree with you. Colby was playing the game and has a better chance of getting votes against Keith than against Roger.

The others voted Roger out because Roger asked them to. He said he knew it was either his turn or Elisabeth's and the fact that Elis mom had cancer and they have piles of medical bills - she probably needed it more.

The internet cafe - what a scene. That is actually the first time I liked Keith. Elisabeth is just adorable. I was surprised her football fiance was not a part of it.

I think Elisabeth, Roger and Colby will have tons of endorsement deals after the fact.

I still cannot stand Tina from the first shows when she was such a backstabber. Snake was a good word for her. But I have to admit she is playing well.

Unless Elisabeth wins immunity - I think she goes next - too likeable. Then I hope Tina. Reason - I think Colby will win if it is between him and Keith. Actually unless Elisabeth is in the final I think Colby would win. But he had better win immunity or he will be booted off.

Colby's hat - he is a Southern boy and there is nothing wrong with his hat or anything else of his for that matter Right KIKI!!!

Warning!

Tonight was another tear jerker!

Tribal council sucked, but was not surprising.

Next week's show is the 2-hour finale. Should be interesting.

I had the bad luck of forgetting that Survivor was on tonight.

Can someone furnish the details, please?

I take it Colby didn't get voted off tonight. Too bad. This has been all too predictable these last several weeks. The climax is already shaping up to be anticlimactic.

Colby won the reward challenge. The prize? A Pontiac Aztek, a hot shower, a hot meal, and his mother was the surprise that brought him his meal. She stayed the night with him in his new Aztek and then went back to camp with him the next morning and met the rest of the gang. Then she left via helicopter.

Colby also won the immunity challenge.

Elizabeth was voted off.

The Colby/mom stuff was creepy...very Psycho/Norman Bates-ish. Can you imagine being the girl Colby brings home, having to meet her standards? Yikes!

What's with Colby saying that having his mom there was "almost like a conjugal visit" ???

Don't forget in last week's episode when they (Colby & Mom) were communicating via the internet he wept when she called him Baby Boy. Maybe it's southern thang?

To all you americans: I thank you so much for sharing all the info on Survivor. I have to wait another 5 days before I see the episode that you have just talked about.
I'm so glad Colby is still in the running, and disappointed to hear that Tina is still hanging in there. I only hope that we get a 2 hour special like you do.

You are all just jealous because he is gorgeous and set to win a million dollars.

His mother was very nice. He is just a good Southern boy who respects his mother. I think I read that she is a single parent.

Did you see Tina and Elisabeth with him. They cannot get enough hugs and kisses and have no ill will towards his wins. So I think he is genuinely just a nice guy. Keith - OTOH wasn't very nice.

Besides - with his looks and So charm - I would go home to meet mom anytime!!

I just love Colby and hope he wins the money.

His mother, though, really creeps me out. I thought she was creepy when they were doing the internet thing, but last night was even worse.

Did you see where she took one of the girls' hand? I thought she was gonna read their palms! She looks like she could be a fortune teller.

I was glad Colby won the car, too. He said he's never had a new vehicle before. I think he deserved it.

OMG. I didn't even know there was a CAR to be won!!! I'm so glad Colby won it but it would have been nice to see Elisabeth win something.

Well you know I have to get on here and put my opinion

I, as you all know, love Colby and I have to admit that the mother closeness thing was a bit strange. I think it's charming that he is a mama's boy but when his mother was taking photos and one was when he was taking a hot shower I admit, it gave me the creeps. LOL!

I also don't think he knew what conjugal visits mean. I could help him with that education

I think he should win not only because I have a crush on him, LOL, but because he basically kicks butt in these challenges. Both physical and mental. However, I think it will come down to Tina and Keith. I think Tina giving up on that post was the foresight into the future which is the two of them being the finalists. Then I think Tina will win in the end. If you think of it, if Colby was one of the finalists, it would be too easy to say he would win. Between he and either Tina or Keith, he won more of the jurors over. But Tina and Keith have enemies in the jury so making a decision between the two of them is more difficult meaning I think it will definitely be between those two. And I don't care for either. Especially Keith. YUK.

Go Colby!

I don't get it: How did they arrange to instantly have Colby's Mom there? Was she just in the neighborhood? Did they know in advance that he was going to be the winner? Did they have the family members of Tina, Elisabeth & Keith there, too, only to have to disappoint them & not tell the other survivors? Baffles me!

And what's up with the car -- can anyone say "product placement"! I guess we can figure to see Aztec sales take a leap now.

I also don't get: How totally non-survivor-like these people really are. I mean, they have been starving out there on rice. What a bunch of weenies. So you lose your fishing gear, then build an underwater enclosure using rocks with a small opening, when a fish goes in, you plug the opening real quick, try to catch the fish.

Are there birds eggs, edible anything, fried grubs? I don't care, I figure they could be doing just about anything but they choose to loll around getting suntans on the beach & complain about no energy & daydream about what they would buy at the 7-11. Drives me nuts!

I agree with you all too, Colby & Mom are just a little too creepy, I'll bet that one has the whole nation wondering.

When I saw Colby and Mama in the back of the Aztec I had to think to myself, "If the Aztec is rockin...."

EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Upriver, yes, they did have the other's family members standing by. According to Gretchen from the first Survivor, she said that for that one (where they stayed on the yacht overnight) the producers had everyone waiting in California, flew the winner's dad over (all night flight) and had him there the next morning. I would assume that for this one they had em all in Au someplace.

As far as the actual "survivor" skills. You are so RIGHT!!!! This whining bunch of yuppies couldn't find food unless they were in a McDonald's parking lot, and then I have my doubts about some of em. At least Rodger was still trying to fish after the flood. I guess there are no rats in Au? Perhaps, like the mysterious "firey log" that Keith just HAPPENED to find after the horrifically soaking rain (notice they didn't show any lightning with that storm?) the remaining three are waiting for a Whopper or Red Rooster meal to appear just as mysteriously......

It's my feeling that Colby will never make it to the winner's circle. Even if he wins the next immunity challenge and becomes one of the final two, he will never make it past the jury to win the big bucks. Why? Because he was so blatant with his ultimate dislike of ... (what the hell was her name??) the bartender wanna be actress. She carried a huge influence over her tribal mates, and will, most likely, influence the jury panel as well.

If Colby does not win the immunity challenge next week, Tina and Keith will vote him off. Keith was very clear in stating his and Tina's alliance in this week's show. And between Keith or Tina? It will come down to the jury vote between them (If Colby doesn't win the challenge.) It's unlikely Keith would be voted the winner by the panel. He simply hasn't made an impact in their struggles to survive, or befriended anyone but Tina. So... I'm believing Tina will be the winner.

I think Colby would have a good shot at winning if he makes it to the final 2. True, Jerri will not vote for him - but most of everyone else liked Colby very much and did NOT like Jerri. I don't think Jerri could influence anyone. Everyone hated her.
