LoL

Don't ever ever give him a compliment.
Hate him and tell him to go to hell and he loves you. Remember that.

I come back to find an empty theatre, house lights still up....no one does things properly anymore.

as the curtain slowly falls, a westward wind sweeps away the last lingering hint of heavy jasmine and carries the soft serenade of a bullfrog chorus from the pond, twilight duskily deepening into somber night....

As we wake from the somber night,
snakes slither from the infamous pond
and while lurking in the grass,
their beady eyes spy someone new.
treading, unaware along the primrose
path....

LoL

I'm thinking that I'm thinking what you're thinking, Hepburn, at least I think so.

A pondscum TRiBute perhaps?

If you are thinking what Im thinking, then both of us are thinking we think the same thoughts. Yes indeedy. A TRiBute to pondscum. Wonder if there are any chickens clucking around that pond? And worse yet, if they are wearing sweats?

Dedication

To all the people in America who have no tolerance for the beliefs
and lifestyles of other people and to all the individuals who believe in the obscenity called a death penality, I hereby define as Pondscum.

May chicken droppings forever define the perimiter of the pond where they live
while snakes slither in the grass nearby.

Now, Hepburn and Enchanted

I have stated my definition of pondscum.

You only say....

"I'm thinking that I'm thinking what you're thinking, Hepburn, at least I think so."

Do you have any further comment that you can express in writing so that we may all know.

Don't be bashful, now.

....as my confusion continues to grow....

Not enough caffeine yet?
Is my true "blondeness" coming out?
Will I be lost forever between the lines?

Is there any hope for me at all?

Can you help me out, Helen?

I can spot them, but the big picture is fuzzy.

Do you keep notes on this stuff?
What does it really mean?
I am so lost!
Does it have to do with the title of the thread?
(did we actually stay on topic here?)
....I'll stay tuned ....
(probably hiding in the corner)
(eyes and ears open)
(sitting on my hands, mouth taped shut)

Bobbi: The "sweats" threads were in the fall of 1999. The original "Pond Scum" thread was in April 2000. The "Chicken" was adopted as the official AW mascot in the summer of 2000. Hope that helps.

G'morning Irene, Helen, Zoomin and Hepburn!

I didn't read the sweats thread, so I'm lost on that one.

But krs admits to some knowledge of the pondscum situation or perhaps concurrence with our guess-- Aha!

Helen and Zoomin AW rules forbid us from discussing these matters openly and although I'd love to clue you in, AW will send black helicopters to moderate me if I do. I beg your forgiveness, oblique references are the best we can do at the RT.

Have a blueberry muffin in the meantime Helen and Zoomin, for munching while you watch the festivities.
