There were a couple of these threads a while back but they are getting pretty long, so I though I would start a new one for the benefit of those who are relatively new to AW boards.
PLEASE NOTE. IN ALL OF THE FOLLOWING YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE $ FOR THEM TO WORK.

barry(theoneandonly)barris had a great suggestion on a previous thread. If you want to play with these without everyone seeing your attempts, just go to one of your posts on an old thread and edit it.

I see where people post messages and at the end of their post it says "edited blah blah blah". What is editing and how do you do it? Is there an instruction manual that I haven't received yet? Thanks for the instructions Blonde. There have been several for us "new" folks that have quite helpful!

If you look at one of your own posts, to the right of your name you will see "posted on June..." and then, if you are logged in you will see a little "edit" button. Click that and you will be able to change those annoying little typo's etc.
Edited cause I always have at least one!

To link with a name...for example, VENDIO....this is how your url should look. Be sure that the brackets are pointed in the correct direction. (close the end space)
[url=http://www.vendio.com]VENDIO[/url ]
I left a space at the end so that it wouldn't work ...move the bracket to the left so that the space is closed and it should work like the following one.
