Fellow Auction Enthusiasts,
I am writing this as a warning to all. I am so aggravated with the "customer service" (the word service is used loosely!) that I have decided to post my experiences here and elsewhere--including a web page that should be up shortly strictly as a warning to others.
I hope this message saves you the frustration that I have been having since I joined.
Taketoauction's concept is alright, but has it's faults. The most major issue is that in order to try them you MUST register with them. To register, you must give them a minimum of $100. On their web page tutorial / introduction, they don't clearly define that you can't get this money back. You MUST sacrifice $100, in order to see how they work and if you like their concept--if you don't like them, you don't get your money back--a contradiction in fine print.
Over a TWO MONTHS later, I am still getting excuses, delays, etc.. to not refund money that's rightfully mine.
Their response time to emails is horrible--I don't know how they are in business. Their customer service manager laughed--literally--at me, when I shared my frustrations--and it took 18 minutes on HOLD to get to him. They do NOT care.
I have left messages with their "controller" three weeks ago, and have NEVER had a returned call--to get my money back.
I will be doing everything in my effort to warn others about this corrupt practice that taketoauction is living by.
Your comments and experiences are welcomed. Please let me know if you have had the same troubles or worse.
I anxiously await the opportunity to make somebody hear me at their place of business. I am on a mission to report them to any and every internet authority. Do yourself a favor, and warn your friends and clients not to participate with such ill-fated, unprofessionals, out for a quick buck on the net.
Please feel free to contact me with your woes--I am collecting fuel for my fire.
GENUINELY,
Robert "notbob" Watson

To think i was actually thionking of Joining tomorrow! Alot of things i was wondeirng about has been explained though, so thanks to you guys.. I'll be keeping my money.. PLEASE put up the web page, & get it listed on search engines where people can actually find it when they enter "taketoauction".. iT WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.. You stopped me from making a mistake.. you can do it for others.. I'm sorry you had to lose money to find out their crooks.
I have made a Practice of coming to boards like these before signing up for things like Paypal, Moneyzap, taketoauction, etc. If i had started in the beginnging i don't think i would have been burned by paypal. I can't believe how the majority of the people think Paypal is a good business..For sure its a good idea.. But for paypal the Corporation.. They need some hard work... They need a few people in managment that have Hearts, & have Ethic's. I think at some point someone will step in & do to paypal, whats happened to Napster. We have to remember... The internet is a fairly new entity & it takes Society a little longer to catch up.. They will, & whent hey do i think Paypal will drop off the planet when they are seen for what they are.
How dumb does paypal think the population is? Lets say Paypal freezes ten accounts a day.. Each account has $1000 or more in it. They're drawing interest on $10,000. And we all know they freezing a lot more then my questimate.. One person i have heard of had over $20,000 held & i have not heard his money has been released. From what i understand they froze his account over a $40 or $50 transaction..
My Problem with paypal started over a Louzy $31.85.. It took Months to finally get it back, & if it wasn't for Damon getting involved.. I'd still be waiting. I know i haven't said it, but Thanks Damon.

I was scammed by takeyourmoney.com rather than TTA. I shelled out $3500 and they will not even give my credits back. They do not define credits thoroughly and mislead people
to thinking they will get credits(money) back
Anyone that is just as frustrated as my self please email me at [email protected] and share your experience with me. I am planning on hiring an attourney and collecting fuel for the fire
