What happens when you buy from a seller registered with AuctionWatch and he scams you. Does this mean that he can continue scamming other persons on other auctions sites because he registered here?

Another question along a similar vein. A thief who takes your money and doesn't send your purchase, if ever nailed by the auction site, can pack up and move to another site. I succeeded in getting one fradulent seller booted off ebay, but I'd like to find out where he's doing business now so I can warn those who might bid on his stuff.
Is there a central clearinghouse of fraud information, a database that can catch fradulent sellers who move to other auction sites? Things like seller's real names and addresses. It wouldn't stop all the thieves, but could catch some and make it harder for the rest. A place like that could be used by auction sites to check new people registering with it. I'm familiar with ebay, but have very little experience with other auction sites and with AW.

You can always take action through local police. They are really starting to crack down on internet fraud. My friend was scammed "big-time" by a seller and she filed charges against him. All others who had been scammed by the same guy joined in, and he was arrested! So don't just let them get away with it.
