I have tried for over a week to get my "suspended" account reactivated. I have phoned daily, e-mailed, submitted customer service requests. I get a promise that somebody will return my call "today". I get unanswered e-mail. While I don't have a great deal of money in my account, I have advertised this company in all of my auctions. Now, I guess, I have to go through all of them and remove this option. I certainly would not want any of my customers to get treated this way!!! If anybody has any further suggestions I would appreciate any help I can get.

Can't help you with EP, you are one of thousands that was affected, but if you are looking for reliable payment services and info on your rights as a consumer, check out the info I have gathered at
http://www.ygoodman.com/payments.html

Thanks for the info. I will go check it out. Guess I just don't understand why anybody who would want your business would treat you in such a fashion.

dsnypals, you need to get a hold of Pam from Exchangepath. Go to the forum for Auctionwatch partner services and check some of mine or other peoples posts for her email address. Or just start a post like you did in this forum and you should get a response. She has been very helpful, and while I still would not recommend EP, I will heartily recommend Pam for her quick and courteous help.
As for the other poster, Mr. Y, you know that this person could get help from Pam because I see you posting in those other forums as well, but I am starting to believe that you have some agenda pushing Western Union and Achex. Help the people when you can even if it is for a terribly run company like EP, at least you can point the person in trouble to some help rather than pushing your site and your fav companies at every chance.

>>I am starting to believe that you have some agenda pushing Western Union and Achex<<
It's amazing. If you dont like the message, attack the messenger. Defense attorneys use this all the time to get their guilty clients off. When I was posting pro-Paypal stuff, before I learned just how bad they were, people accused me of being an employee. When I posted pro-Exchangepath stuff, based on the lies they told me when I called, people accused me of being an EP employee. Now that I have taken the time to research and report on which services are well run and which aren't, I have an "agenda." Maybe I work for Moneyzap. Maybe I work for Achex. Wait a minute, I also give good marks to billpoint and bidpay. maybe I work for them, too. And I also said good things about escrow.ca. Maybe I work for them too, even though they're in Canada and I'm in NY.
I do have an agenda. It's letting lousy companies like Paypal and Exchangepath know that you can't fool all the people all the time. The Internet gives us the ability to communicate with thousands of others. There are some folks out there who won't sell their conscience and fool their customers into signing up for a terrible service for the lousy $5 they get. Good services like Moneyzap, Achex and Bidpay don't have to pay folks to spread the word.

Touchy, defense attorneys also win cases so hey they must do something right, look at OJ.
My main beef is the person comes here for help with a specific problem with EP and you foist your website and other payment services on him without addressing his problem. If you want to push your favs, at least point this person to the correct forum so that he can get a response from an EP person. I know that you are aware of the ExchangePath forum because you are constantly posting there also. Lets be fair about it, your reply that you don't know how to help him wasn't very accurate, unless you are going to tell me that you post in the EP forum but don't read the messages.

Get a grip! That is the whole problem, these services are problematic and they know it. Getting them to respond to problems and complaints seems to be impossible for most. At least his site gives good information for users to draw their own conclusions. What help have you given this community except whining?

Let's see mrfunfoods, I informed dsnypals of the correct forum to post his problem in. I have been keeping people up to date on the Paypal Gametek fiasco, and I have given Paypal credit where credit is due, and blasted EP when they were stupid and suspended everyones accounts. I agree with you that these payment services are problematic, that is why I suggested that dsnypals post in the EP forum on this site.
Like I stated before, yisgood did nothing to address dsnypals problems, not even pointing him to the EP forum on this site, now how is that helping the person who started this thread. I think you need to read all the messages and then really ask yourself did Mr. Y help dsnypals by pointing him to his site rather than pointing him to the correct forum on these boards?
