Paypal has restricted my account and is requesting that I fax them a copy of my driver's license and current bank statement before they'll lift the restriction. Their reasoning is that someone from a foreign country tried to access my account so they have to know that I'm me. I don't have a business just some play money for Ebay. It's only $14.40 but it's the point. I called and talked to a customer service rep and there's no help there. They won't even transfer my money to my bank account that THEY have verified and transferred money to and from for over a year. I'd appreciate any advice if anyone knows how I might be able to get my money back without faxing this personal information. I'm just not comfortable with that.
