We are a Wireless Communications Company on the net and were recently RIPPED OFF by the wonderful PayPal. We had heard horror stories and all, so we tried to be careful. I guess there is no careful when it comes to PayPal. We ran all of the shopping carts on the website as well as the auctions from PayPal. Recently, paypal cleaned 13,000.00 out of our account and locked the account for no apparent reason. We contacted them wondering what the deal was. They said we needed to fax over some verification information (ID, Utility Bill, Letterhead, Bank Statement) for the account to be re-issued. OK, so we did that. Then they come to us asking us for more information, such as who we purchase our products from, who we sell to, tracking numbers for transactions months back. Isn't this the same thing they were sued for? Will they ever get the point? Will they realize why this website is here? C'mon, we all need to get together and watch PayPal stocks fall from 15.00 a share to nothing.
Like I meantioned before, we are the Largest Wireless Communications website on the Planet and we are here to protect YOU, the consumer. Don't use a merchant company that will distroy your finances. We offer other TRUSTED merchants for Online Transactions. Visit us on the net at http://www.kwinmusic.com.

Paypal resolved my account problems after I complained to the SEC. I used the money market and had all the funds invested in the fund.
That aside I want to say that Paypal seems to be improving customer relations and I still use the service but much more cautiously than before. I do hope that the company gets things worked out. I still love the debit card and the other features.
I do think that Paypal should offer a "Gold" verified user status in which a more lengthly process is used to verify user accounts and personal information.
Also, it would be helpful if an indication of the time a seller or user has been with Paypal would be available and also how many times a user has made changes to their email and address information. The fraud protection needs to be shifted to the front end of the service. Waiting till after money has changed hands is asking for even more customer service trouble.
