ok...i heard this rumor and i am posting this to find out if it true.
you are a seller, you get a negative feedback from a buyer that you did not deserve, and so if you want to remove that negative feedback you in turn place a negative feedback back, but here is the crux....you place real filthy dirty strong obsenties back to the buyer and you send it to ebay to let them see....result....ebay removes both negative feedbacks......is this true and has anyone out there ever seen it or heard about it.....

I have never heard of that~ I would be careful in doing it, however, in case they try to do something to your account for being obscene...

That is highly dangerous. As jacquilyn said, they'll do something to your account - as in suspend or terminate it. Vulgarity is against the rules. However, you can reply to the negative feedback in your feedback list and explain to other viewers that it was unwarranted (and why). Then, turn around and contact eBay with a more detailed explanation of the whole situation and request the entry to be removed.
I recommend the feedback reply first because there's no telling when or if it will ever be removed, so at least the viewers can see what your defense is. Of course, be polite in the reply as to not come out as sounding like a rude retaliating person.
Luckily, I haven't had to deal with negative feedback so far.
