Ever since this afternoon, I have not been able to get pictures downloaded. It seems to just hang there saying pending. What is the problem?

Hello,

Try simply clearing your Internet Explorer temporary internet files, and then restart the browser.

This will typically always clear such an issue, but if this persists afterward please let us know.
