I have a funny story:
I got an order from a new customer in Albania the other day, and I was so happy! That anyone in Albania would like to buy my items was quite impressive.
Upon closer inspection, the address in Albania looked very much like a USA address. I was totally shocked to see that they used the same two-letter abbreviations like we do in this country.
It turns out the customer, a brand new ebayer from a small town in Ohio, had filled out the eBay form for Albania, and also PayPal.
When I called it to her attention, she changed it in eBay, but not in PayPal. She payed via PayPal and since I didn't ship it to Albania, the buyer protection didn't apply.
She paid international rate for shipping, so I just shipped it with a Priority Mail upgrade to get the package out to her quickly.
She finally fixed all the info, but this just shows that not all parts of this process can be automated.
Don't forget that these systems make our life easier, but a sale is between two people, not between computers.
