I just tried to publish my ebay store to Google Base and came up with several errored items - among them some with NO IMAGES! I haven't deleted any images in a LONG time and certainly wouldn't have deleted active listing images.
Here is one of the missing image URL:
http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/neglus/seashellmotel323.jpg
There are several hundred items. What's up?

Your default image hosting preferences are setup to keep all images until manually deleted, which means any missing images were either uploaded prior to setting your preferences this way or manually deleted from the system.

That one is attached to ebay 6283980563 . I think it was listed sometime last Spring (the 323 is the creation date - the year was probably 2006 judging by the ebay number). I can't recall ever deleting an image this new.

On Jun-03-06, eBay shows this item being edited from it's original state:
"PictureURL: Pictures Added/Deleted"
Is it possible that the original photo was removed to replace it with something else? Perhaps the wrong image was removed from image hosting at a later date. (obviously just guessing, we cannot tell what prompted the image to be removed this far back.)

Hmmm - I would just rename a picture if that were the case - it's a PIA to revise through ebay. Hopefully that's an isolated case then - I spot checked the others that are were on the list and there are images now - there were several that came back with "system errors" but they didn't say whose system. If I had to bet, I'd bet on glitch-bay. I will run the store connector late at night and see if I get better results. Thanks for help.
