This is not a major issue for me (and I'm sure it's been asked many times?), but for YEARS I've always wondered WHY the # of Bids don't update immediately after an initial refresh of the page.
For example: I have 10 items listed, and as of about an hour ago, I had 2 bids. About 10 minutes ago, I lucked out and saw on eBay that I had received 5 more, for a total of 7 (YEAH!).
When I came here to refresh the Control Panel again, it showed updates of the number of hits for each item, yet the # of Bids remained the same at 2. It isn't until I hit refresh yet again, that the actual # of Bids shows correctly.
Why?
Like I said, it's not a major issue (hardly even a minor one), I'm just curious.
PS: Suggestion - Could you add a PREVIEW for our posts before we hit the Post New Topic button?
We are dependent on being notified by eBay's API when this information changes. Using the Vendio refresh button can speed this process up, but it can still take a few minutes for the information to appear in your account. Unfortunately, this information is not immediately relayed to us by eBay when it changes.
I have passed along your suggestion to add a preview to the message board posts.

Thanks Nathan for the response. I always wondered why the # of bids didn't jive until I hit refresh for a second time.
And thanks for passing along my suggestion about previewing posts. Much appreciated.
Maybe we can get some smilies too, and how 'bout font formatting? :::wink, wink::: )
