How do I put the Buy It Now or Best Offer in my listing? I use Buy It Now often but have only used Best Offer once and that was many months ago...I forgot how I put it in. Thanks.

Hello,

Note that due to eBay rules Best Offer cannot be used with auction listings. (It can only be used with fixed price or store listings.)

We would recommend reviewing the Setup Guide available at this URL:

http://www.vendio.com/gettingstarted/bosco.pdf

This document contains detailed instructions on setting up both Best Offers and Second Chance Offers using our system. If you have trouble opening the file, please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer (you may need to upgrade your existing version.) This is available for free on Adobe's website:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html

After reviewing the Setup Guide, please let us know if you have any other questions or if you encounter any problems.

Regards,
Nathan

I didn't view the setup guide however I did go into my auction site specifics in my account and checked a box for using Best Offers in my listings. After I did that, I created an auction choosing a fixed price style listing and it still didn't bring up the Best offer option. When I did that one Best Offer many months ago, I don't remember it being very difficult. If it had been a pain to put it in, I probably would have chosen not to.

Hello,

You also need to select "Enable Best Offers when possible in this listing's category" under "Best Offers" in the main listing form. If you continue to have trouble with this, please let us know the name of the pending listing where you are having trouble.

Nathan

Yup...that's what I did before I posted my last reply and still no Best Offer. The listing is the last one in my pending list that is fixed price and starting at $200. See if you can find what I'm doing wrong. I want to get this auction launched tonight soon if I can.

Well, I went and launched the auction anyway to see if the Best Offer would show up after it was launched and it did. Would be nice to be able to see that it was activated on my create auction page...not just depending on a checkmark in the box next to Enable Best Offer. Maybe having the Best offer option show up right next to the Buy It Now/Fixed Price?
