Hello, so far today 4 winning auctions have closed. I have entered two paypal payments and addresses manually. Two more are still showing no payment, one Canadian and one American. Is there anything wrong on your end..

Hello,

We are not having any problems that I am aware of. What is one of the listing numbers where you are having trouble? Also, do you know what method the buyers used to make the payment? For example, did they use Vendio checkout? Or did they go to PayPal directly?

Regards,
Nathan

None have used Vendio checkout, all are through paypal and show going to my mailstep.com address. These aren't the first. I had thought I was too impatient but the previous week 2 out of 4 came in correctly, the others I filled in:
250119621056; (Cleo) showing since posting question
250119500056 (VS)
250119491865 (Maisy - I filled in)
250119574765 (Marie - I filled in)
The () just help me remember which auctions they are.
Thank you for you prompt reply! It is appreciated

Hello,

Is there a particular reason you are using the mailstep address? That was the old way of recording PayPal payments. Now the PayPal IPN is used. I see you have your account setup to use PayPal IPN. I would recommend that you change your PayPal email address, and no longer use the mailstep address.

Am I understanding correctly that two of the payments were automatically recorded and two were not?

In most cases, Paypal payments will be recorded automatically. There are a few scenarios, however, in which payments might not be recorded in post-sale. These are outlined below:

1. Your buyer has made the payment directly at Paypal (not through eBay/Paypal or Vendio Checkout) and has not filled in the auction information when making their payment. If your buyer does not fill in the auction information, the payment may not be processed in post-sale.

2. Your buyer is using an email address other than the address registered to their eBay ID, and is purchasing a Dutch, eBay Store, or Fixed Price item. At times, payments will not be automatically recorded under these conditions.

3. Occasionally this can happen when an auction listing ends early with Buy It Now. If the buyer makes the PayPal payment before eBay notifies Vendio that the listing has closed, then the payment may not be automatically recorded.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you continue to have trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan

thanks for the help. I'll remove the mailstep address immediately. If the problem resurfaces next week , if I get any auctions up, I'll let you know.

Another situation where the payment does not get recorded in Vendio is when the buyer purchases more than one item. In that case, NONE of the payments are marked "received" and must be processed manually.
