Afterall, we are dealing with computers and stuff is gonna happen. Humans made them and humans are far from perfect.
We all need to calm down and voice our concerns in a professional manner to Vendio so they know what the issues are and can address them. I know for a fact that they are working on it as we speak. There is no need to yell in CAPS on the message board. Its not like they can flip a swtich and fix the issues.
I have been doing ebay now for almost 10 years and I remember the big crash but I cannot remember in the last 7 years of being with Vendio/Auctionwatch that there was this major of an issue. Let them address the issues and try to show some respect.
Today would be a great day to go golfing and hopefully it will all be better when you come back to work tommarow.

While some of us respect your opinion we also make a living on vendio/ebay. I am also a 10 year seller and can't afford to laugh it off or go play golf. I've lost 100's of dollars today and it doesn't help to say it hasn't happened in 7 years. If someone robbed a bank do we say 'well its been seven years since it happened so no big deal'? I do hope Vendio is working on the problem but in turn I want there to be a record of what I lost. Last time I was told I was in error and was never reimbursed. This is a MAJOR error and I think people have the right to be upset.

Sure its unacceptable and I prolly lost some money too. Most of us make a living at it. But if I had a real store and it got flooded out or the roof blown off by a tornado it would be unacceptable too but I would have to deal with. No sense in getting upset and screaming and yelling about it right? I am sure they are very aware of the situation and they will deal with it to the best of their abilities.
Of course if any of us think they could do a better job, I am sure they are all ears .

some people are just simply impossible.

Calm down, Take a deep breath. Walk outside and look around and just be happy to be alive and make a living doing what you like to do. Think about that. If your life is really that bad right now, I am sure it could be alot worse.

I am calm, but if I take a walk twiddling my thumbs kissing bunnies all day they'll do this to me again. You may not take your families well-being seriously but lots of us do.

Thank you imagewarehouse - we do work hard to make sure things like this don't happen, but unfortunately as you correctly noted, we are not perfect. We tend to resolve issues quickly when they do happen, and I believe that this issue has now been resolved. We would appreciate if you would log into your account and check the status of your items to confirm that your items have returned to the correct state, and any missing data has been restored.

Please let us know if there are any remaining issues. I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Best regards,

Diana

Hello paulvs,

We will see if we can run a script to cancel the erroneous launches, but you should start doing this yourself as I don't know how long it will take to complete. I believe if you cancel a listing within 12 hours, eBay will refund the insertion fee. Of course it goes without saying that we will credit you for any Vendio fees resulting from the erroneous launches.

Note that the only items that launched in error were those with auto-relist set. Pending or closed/unsold items were not affected.

Thanks,

Diana

I would suggest that you contact eBay as I do not have the time or inclination to do so. I also have a number of auctions which were launched by Vendio that I did not schedule.

Diana,
You are welcome. I have been taught that honey will attract you more bees than vinegar will. Too bad the rest of the world is not taught that too. The world would be a better place. Most people would rather "Jerry Springer" it lol.
Anyhow, it looks like all 3 of my accounts are back to normal and now we all can resume our business. I sure hope this didnt make it so anyone cant eat tonite .
Thanks
Ron

PS. If anyone need ink or toner cartidges check us out at www.imageex.com

'Note that the only items that launched in error were those with auto-relist set. Pending or closed/unsold items were not affected.'

The ones I cancelled were NOT scheduled for auto relist and WERE closed/unsold and sold. I do not know if they would have launched but I was not taking any chances. I do hope Vendio plans on reimbursing everyone their eBay fees for items that launched and were not supposed to. Thank you. I am O.K. and do not need assistance, please take care of everyone else.

Diana can you please be more specific about how Vendio plans to rectify this? Do I contact billing to get all my Ebay fees back? You tell me if I cancel them within 12 hours theres no ebay fee like I am responsible for the ebay fees. I'll do my best to fix the problem but I don't think I should be responsible for ANY fees from ebay due to this error. Are you cancelling the listings started in error? Are you contacting Ebay? Please let us know whats going on. Thanks.

Wow...I am so sorry for you guys! I wonder if this was just a certain server or if the rest of us will experience this tomorrow or the next day?

I didn't have any problems except for Post Sale playing Hide and Seek.

I believe you were justified in your anger and your response. I only saw name calling by one person and that was not directed at Vendio.

Hopefully Vendio will assist you with the ebay fees. It would seem the right thing to do.

Also, it is frustrating to have no Announcement on these issues asap. I can't believe that there isn't someone at the plant 24/7.

That said, I am looking forward to the expanded Vendio services, especially managing more than one ebay store/ebay user name with one account!

Good luck guys and I feel for you!
