When will Vendio fix/enable the 'Remember Me' login option? ...it's been quite a while now, and the pages are so much larger, so we need to scroll across, unless we sign in every time we come to vendio.

Thanks...

Hello,

We will be enabling the 'remember me' option shortly, quite possibly before this weekend even.

Christopher

Hi, Christopher: For the last 24 hours the "remember me" box has been there, but it's not remembering me! I'm sure that will be corrected soon?

Hello Roadsmith,

Could you please provide more details as to how it is not working for you? If you remain on the Vendio website, is it not remembering you? Or does it not remember you after you have closed your browser or gone to a different website? Also, please let me know what browser you are using so that I can try to duplicate the problem.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan: I'm using Mozilla Firefox. As long as I stay on Vendio, it remembers me, but if I go to another site, I have to sign in again. It isn't even remembering me for an hour, let alone 7 days.

Hello,

I just tried this on Firefox version 2.0.0.4. Is that the version you are using? I logged in to my account after selecting the "Remember Me" option. I closed the browser. Then reopened the browser and I was still logged in. I also tried going to a different website, closing the browser, reopening the browser and I was still logged in.

I was not still logged in when I clicked "Log Out" before closing the browser and then reopening.

Does this happen for you after closing the browser and reopening it immediately, or does it seem to happen only after Vendio has been closed for a certain period of time? If a certain period of time, about how long?

Regards,
Nathan

only "sort of" the same thing here... friends over on ebay outlook told me "if you use firefox you won't have to log in every time"... so..... i downloaded firefox, and here's my situation now ... it keeps me logged in (only because i said "remember my password on this browser"... and that helps solve the scrolling way over to the right to read the message boards here... BUT... now, since the 2 days ago that i d/l'ed firefox, when i GO to the message forums, every message shows as "new!" next to it (for the past 2 days of postings ... which is when i d/l'ed firefox) ......... strange!

aintrich - if you have Firefox set to delete cookies and clear internet files when you close your browser, you will have to sign in every time you open your browser and all the messages will show as new. Once cookies are wiped out, Vendio no longer can keep you signed in for 9 days. I still prefer to delete cookies when I close the browser - keeps computer fast and wipes all the nasty spyware. If you set up tabbed browsing, you can keep Vendio in one tab and ebay or whatever in another and stay signed in until you hit the red X in the top right corner of Firefox. I often have 7 or 9 tabs open at a time and keep it open for days at a time.
