After all this time, and doublechecking my preferences, I still have to log in EVERY time I go to Vendio from another site.

At least now Vendio remembers my password, but I still get the log-in page and have to click to log-in.

Is there something else I should know about the WindowsVista interface with Vendio? This isn't happening with my other frequently visited sites. Thanks!

Hello,

What browser and version are you using? Please try adding Vendio as a site where you will always accept cookies, and let us know if that helps. (If you are not sure where to do this, I should be able to point you in the right direction once I know what browser and version you are using.)

Regards,
Nathan

Hi, Nathan: I have Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. Does that help? I do appreciate your advice on this. Adele

Hello Adele,

Are you using Firefox version 2.0.0.5? (That's the version that I am using and the "Remember Me" works correctly for me.) In Firefox please go to "Tools" --> "Options" --> then go to the "Privacy" tab. Check under the "Cookies" section and make sure that next to "Keep Until" you have either "they expire" or "ask me every time" selected (note that if you are ever asked to clear the cookies, and you select to clear them, then the Vendio cookie will be removed and your login won't be remembered). Also click on the "Exceptions" button and enter http://www.vendio.com into the box. Then click "Allow".

If this doesn't help, please let me know any anti-virus software that you are running. It would also be helpful if you could try temporarily lowering the security of any anti-virus or firewall that you have on your computer to see if that makes a difference.

Regards,
Nathan

I have the newest Firefox version; it was installed with my WindowsVista computer. Can't seem to find anywhere where I can see what actual version I have!

I've done exactly what you suggested, Nathan, then tried it out, and every time I left Vendio, I had to sign in to return. What I'm wondering is if closing down and then reopening will be the magic bullet. I'll try that now.

Nope. That didn't do it either.

Adele - check under the Privacy Tab of your Firefox Options (found under "tools". If you have the box checked to "Always clear my Private Data when I close Firefox" then you have cleared your cookies and will have to sign in again when first coming to Vendio. I like this option because it keeps my system running at optimum speed and spyware is virtually wiped out - it's kind of a pain to have to sign in to Vendio once a day or so but WORTH it!

You can find your Firefox Version under the "Help" tab --> About Mozilla Firefox

Thank you Neglus!

Adele,

That is correct. It is important to make sure that the "Always clear my Private Data when I close Firefox" option is not selected. Please also check your Firefox version by following the instructions Neglus provided (although it does sound like you are on the same version of Firefox as I am). Also, did you get a chance to see if temporarily lowering the security on your anti-virus and/or firewall makes a difference (this is especially important if either are set to a security level above "medium"?

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan--or whichever moderator is on duty today--

I've done what you've suggested, loading SMPro into my Vista. It's there now.

I've just finished editing about 90 photos and am ready to upload the file. But I don't know how to do this, where to go next, to do this.

Please spell it out for me, and forgive my ignorance! I've appreciated all the help you've given recently. Adele

Hello Adele,

Have you already brought the images into Sales Manager Pro? If so, you can just hit the "Synchronize" button at the top left to upload them to your online account. If you have not yet brought the images into Sales Manager Pro, please take a look at step 2 of the Sales Manager Pro Getting Started Guide. It will walk you through using the images section in SM Pro. The images section is located in the bottom bar of SM Pro. Note that when you are browsing for images you can select all images in one folder to upload at once (select the first image, hold down the shift key and select the last image).

The Getting Started Guide is located here:
http://www.vendio.com/gettingstarted/salesmanagerpro.pdf

Please let us know if you have any trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan

The images aren't yet in SMPro; they're in my photo file on my computer. I just didn't know what to do next. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try in a little while. Adele

Hello Adele,

Basically, you will click the "Add Images" button in the bar at the bottom of Sales Manager Pro. Then you will browse for your images and select them. The Getting Started Guide will give you more detailed instructions. Please let us know if you have any trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan
