I would like to use a shipping calculator in my auctions but I don't want to use Vendio's checkout. I prefer eBay's. I want to list through Vendio as I prefer your image hosting and your gallery but I prefer the buyer be able to use just eBay's checkout. I don't use Vendio's post sale management features at all.

Can I use the shipping calculator you offer but not the WBN and if so, how? I also like to use the Sale Manager Pro so I can compose auctions off-line.

Thanks in advance.
Sharon

Hello Sharon,

Sure, you don't have to send out the WBN or enable the Vendio checkout when you list your items.

From the My Account page, click the Post Sale Management link found within. Uncheck the boxes for sending the WBN automatically or enabling the Vendio checkout, then click to save the change.

Otherwise, no other special action is required. Use the same normal fields for entering your shipping costs and carriers and your all set.

Regards,
Christopher

Thanks for your reply, Christopher. I have listed three auctions but not I see that the shipping is calculated at check-out. I need one that will calculate when the potential buyer looks at the auction. Most people want to know postage before they bid.

Please explain.

Many thanks,

Sharon

Hello Sharon,

There is one other preference that you will need to enable in order to include the shipping calculator in future listings. Go to "My Account" --> "My Preferences" --> near the top of the page select the option "Include a Shipping Calculator in listing whenever calculated shipping options are displayed" and save the changes.

Also, I noticed that you are putting the international shipping information in the domestic shipping section. It is best to put the international shipping in the international shipping section. You can do this at the time that you list in the main listing form. At the end of the "Shipping Carriers" section there is a box next to "Offer international shipping". If you put a check mark in that box you will then see a separate international shipping section, and you can enter your international shipping options here.

Regards,
Nathan
