There is an article on eBay's new site overall in THIS WEEK's BUSINESS WEEK -- copy and paste this link into your browser --
It talks about the changes afoot at eBay and the complete bottom-to-top overhaul both internally and externally of the company and the site. There are a lot of positives (a lot of them had already been announced) and a lot that I can't undestand why they are bothering. My concern is that some of these are going to require Vendio working on the back end to make sure we can capitalize on. For example: eBay is going to enable us to smart tag our auctions so that we don't have to rely on the auction title to capture search words. This will definitely need Vendio to be prepared on the back end. Vendio has historically been slow to adapt to eBay changes. This is a REALLY, REALLY IMPORTANT ONE that Vendio needs to be prepared for. So ... if anyone from Vendio CS is reading this ... are you working behind the scenes with eBay on this tagging? Any plans to do so? Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for your concern, we will be happy to pass along this article to see if sheds any light on projects eBay hasn't announced directly in their developer forums (where any new projects would have already been posted with information about any possible upcoming changes, with details as to what changes will be coming for subscribers to their API program.)
