Hello.....My buyer could not use PayPal and was unreasonable and would not pay me any way at all. She said when she entered her intention to pay by check she got message that they didn't have the data. So she refused to pay me. I opened Dispute, she still would not pay saying that MY payment system would not work and it was not her fault. Indeed, I had originally listed thru Vendio, but re-listed via e-bay not knowing they were not integrated to allow PayPal. When I closed Dispute in order to claim my fees, on that page I was invited to Re-list the Item. I clicked on and, of course, the e-bay re-list option came up. This seems to me an area which should be explored by Vendio/PayPal/E-bay. If sellers cannot list in Vendio, relist via E-bay, that's OK with me, BUT we should know the potential for problems. Also, she negged (nasty!) and she's NOT A REGISTERED USER! That's even more maddening. A thought - could you set it up so that any re-list could only be made through the original listing venue? OR....INFORM SELLERS SOMEHOW OF THE INABILITY TO USE PAYPAL WHEN VENDIO IS THE ORGINAL VENUE AND E-BAY THE RE-LIST VENUE?

Hello,

Is this the same buyer referenced in the other thread, or is this a different item number?
If this is a new issue and user that prompted this new thread, please let us know the item number to check into further.

To Clarify further on this issue, the problem with your relisting items from the eBay website is that you use the eBay CHECKOUT REDIRECT. The CHECKOUT REDIRECT system forces your buyers to checkout from Vendio, even if they try to checkout from eBay directly.

The problem with relisting from eBay directly instead of Vendio is that when you have CHECKOUT REDIRECT enabled, eBay is forcing the buyer to come to Vendio to pay for the item and we have no record of it.

If you prefer to relist some items direct from eBay, no problem, but be sure to disable the CHECKOUT REDIRECT system in your account to avoid any possible issues once the items are closed.

You can make this change via the My Account page, using the Post Sale Management link found within.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue in the threads you have started on this topic, we will look into adding additional messaging about the possible side effects of relisting from eBay when using the eBay CHECKOUT REDIRECT system for the future.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Regards,
Christopher
