Sorry, got to post a seperate thread. Currently, I am living a nightmare. I had one item that did not show up in my panel, so I used the import feature which is what Vendio has said to do in the past. It didn't work, and that auction never has shown up. But all my unsold items, regular auction items AND eBay store items have shown back up in my control panel - even though they were re-listed over a month ago!! I recommend NOT using the Import feature until this issue is addressed and corrected.

Hello,

The import feature will import all available eBay data into your account automatically.

If you wish only to import a single specific item, click the track option instead where you can enter just an item number and import that one by itself.

Sorry for the confusion or inconvenience this tool may have caused you, we will look into clarifying on that page that importing will import everything available from eBay into your account.

Regards,
Christopher

Is there a way to remove the imported listings? I just did a bunch of re-lists and it was very difficult weeding through the items that were due to be re-listed and the things that have already been re-listed that are back in my panel.

Hello,

At this time, there is not. We are however working on a tool for the future that would assist us in such a situation. (based on this scenario)

Can you please tell me why, when I imported the auctions (see above), why did it replace already finished auctions that had a high bidder? For example, I wanted to copy an auction that recently ended, item #120077213183, which ended with a buyer. When I went to copy it, it's all screwed up in the description box, and photos are out of whack. I can almost understand why stuff that I had moved out of the control panel would re-appear after importing. But why would an ended auction that is still in the panel become an IMPORTED listing? This has totally screwed me up because now, when I want to use an auction that ended in the last 30 days, I won't be able to because it's going to have the import-curse on it. Would you PLEASE do something about this. I would almost like to see you ELIMINATE the import feature all together.

Hello,

I checked your account and the listing "120077213183" had already been archived when you did the import. If a listing is archived (and no longer in your Control Panel), then if possible it will be imported by Vendio when you do an import. Listings that still exist in your Control Panel will not be overwritten or reimported.

Nathan

Nathan:

Just so you know, I did not archive the item before I imported - in fact, I had never archived until this whole thing happened. And what I did with this auction, was I tried to archive it to see if the original would remain in the panel. When I saw that it wouldn't, I re-instated it because I would need to access that auction, with that high bidder, down the line. So, please try again to explain why this ended auction with a high bidder was imported?

Hello,

This item was submitted to eBay on 01-18-2007 at 22:00:17. This item then sold on 10-06-2007 at 13:22:34. Obviously it was an eBay storefront listing setup as good till closed.

Unfortunately we do not have a history of the item past the system seeing it as an import.

You can however still use this item to relist if you have others, no need to recreate the whole thing. The eBay gallery image is still properly attached, so you only need to re-attach the primary image (the same one as the eBay gallery image), set your fixed shipping/no insurance to $6.50, select the same template as before, and enter the item description into the field after deleting all of the random HTML code. The description was as follows, everything else was pulled from your default listing text:
"Disney's GOOFY Christmas plush. Macy's Exclusive. Measures approx. 17" long. Very good CLEAN condition. Fun stuff for Goofy fans! Buyer pays shipping 6.50. (xmas)"

From the tone of your message your getting this on all of your recently closed listings, but we were unable to locate any. If you come across them, please let us know so we can dig a bit further. It may be easier to track the cause/solution on items listed more recently than this example.

Regards,
Christopher
