EVERY SINGLE VENDIO WBN LAST NIGHT BOMBED AND WAS RETURNED WITH THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGE EMAIL. Several different customers with different email protocols and domains. What gives?

The following is the error message we received for every WBN that went out. The last paragraph which contained the customer's email address varied according to their address, their IP address and their host domain --

Hello,

I am not sure what happened there. Are your WBNs still being returned to you, or have they started going our successfully since then? Please try resending one and let me know either way if it is successful.

Regards,
Nathan

I was going to post about this problem last week. I too have had an unusually high number of Vendio emails/messages bouncing back to me (they come back to my regular AOL account). I usually have a few WNBs come back every week, however for the past week it has been a high number of the 'shipment status' messages that I send out that have been bouncing back. I have had to look up the customer via auction title in Postsale, open the auction page, then copy and paste the returned message into the 'contact buyer' ebay message system.

Has something changed with Vendio emailing? As lennonhall said, these bounced emails came back from many different providers.

I am still having this problem. They are bouncing back from a variety of email providers. Not all my WBNs are coming back but enough to be concerned. VENDIO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS.

I have been complaining about this issue for several weeks in emails directly to Vendio. Vendio as a domain is being blocked by more and more ISP's as a bulk mailer (SPAMMER), and our customers who are with Comcast, Yahoo, Centurytel, Mediacom, Myway.com, and several others are not receiving Winning Bidder Notices, Payment Received Notices, or Shipment Status notices! As a Customer Manager user, I'm now seeing more than 10 undelivered emails per day. This requires Vendio to contact the ISPs directly and explain that Vendio sellers are not spammers, and Vendio must be more active in preventing Vendio from being blacklisted. All I've received from Vendio as a response has been the same stock response as follows:

Hello,

Thank you for the information. We are aware
of the problem you are
reporting, and it has been escalated to our
engineering group as a
high-priority issue. We are actively
evaluating the issue and hope to
have a resolution shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has
caused you. Thank you for
your patience.

Sincerely,

Nathan
Vendio Customer Service

The problem is getting worse by the day now, with no prospect for improvement. Get it together, Vendio!

I was having a lot of bounced emails also. I seem to remember that most were from yahoo addresses. I was thinking I might have a virus or something. But it sounds like the same thing as stated here. It's not happening as much as it was, but I still have a few turning up.

Thanks phonecardpro -- you are, no doubt, correct. I do think though that Vendio not only has to contact these domains, they most likely have to PAY them. I do know that the major newsletter email services actually PAY the major domains to accept their email.

Not certain if this is something Vendio would be willing to get into.

Vendio - any response? Phonecardpro is correct, this is probably NOT an engineering issue ... it's most likely a spam filter issue.
