It is SHAMEFUL that Vendio can't even keep up with SIMPLE changes made to the listing form within the past SEVERAL years. (I am sure I have forgotten some):

1) Refund/return policy
2) handling time
3) ability to list Giving Works
4) ability to show different International Shipping rates
5) ability to offer Gallery Plus

And now you promise Custom Item Specifics are coming soon - how soon? Within the next DECADE ?? How about addressing some of the other things our listing form is missing while you are at it??

I agree, for peanuts Inkfrog gives all of this and more. What are we getting for the premium price?

Hello,

When we have an ETA on the above items we will certainly share it with our users. As you know these are features that we have already in the works or on the project list.

Full support for eBay checkout (aka 1,2,&3) won't be available until early 2008 unfortunately. No updates available as to if/when we would build support specifically for the Giving Works system, or the Gallery Plus.
We will however be happy to pass along your feedback to the project manager for further review. If we have any new information on the products your looking for we will post back to this thread.

If you have any other questions on the Vendio Sales Manager or Image Hosting tools please let us know.

Were pretty excited about the new tools Vendio will have to offer in the coming months and believe that most will feel it was worth the wait.

Regards,
Christopher

Hello,

Also as far as custom item specifics goes, we started that project several weeks back but unfortunately we are waiting on eBay at this point - there is a bug in their API that is preventing the pass-through of the custom item specifics field. They have not provided an ETA for a fix as of yet, but as soon as they address the problem we will be able to release support on our side.

Thanks,

Diana

Diana,
I assume ChannelAdvisor and others use API as well. They have all these features available for their customers.

Instead of wasting time on unnecessary changes and re-inventing the wheel just hire some people to write the code. Unless Vendio is based on some archaic architecture, all these changes should be easy to implement. Surely it doesn't take years to add some new features.

Also, if you need to forward our requests to your engineers, I would suggest to FIRE them. Just ask them to go on eBay to see what others have and we don't.

I feel like we are on two opposite ends of the Universe. Instead of adding Dealio, recent garbage Webloyalty, removing clickable supesized images, changing Community background so we cannot see what we write JUST ADD NEW FEATURES eBay IS OFFERING so we can compete with other sellers.

Not to be rude but, there is a telephone system out there in California, call them up and talk to their boss.

Make waves, demand results, we are all sinking like rocks in water, drowning while waiting month after month after month for some change to become available.

This has gone on for years on so many things just like this latest issue.

You may not realize it but e-bay has become a place that has become quite difficult to sell on.

Every time they make changes if we are not on the cutting edge then we get dropped to the bottom of sales/search.

The less sales we get the less we can afford to spend on non preforming extras.

When I am asked by my bosses what am I getting for my $150 a month in fees , It has become difficult to answer them.

Hello vendio, I would also like to see a FLAT RATE SHIPPING OPTION like you can get when you list directly through ebay.

When you list through Vendio you have to choose a service, but through ebay...it's just flat rate.

Can we get that too?
