Hi, I have had on and off problems with uploading images to image hosting since I have been using Vista the last month. I always download jpeg images. One time it will let me the next time it won't - it will just stall out when I put in the first image for upload - just sits there and I can't do anything - locks up. Vendio is the only place I'm having this issue since using Vista. They are images that are not to big etc. I have been doing this for a long time. It's apparent that it's a Vista not working with Vendio issue. I assume others are running into this issue - is there an answer/fix? Thanks

Hello,
Have you tried the steps for installing Sales Manager Pro on Vista? (If you already have, please do not follow the steps again.) While some customers have been able to get Sales Manager Pro to work on their Vista machines, other customers have not been able to do so.
If you have not already tried this, please first uninstall Sales Manager Pro and follow these steps:
1. When you download Sales Manager Pro, be sure to save the installation kit to your hard disk. Do not choose the "run from current location" option during download.
2. Before you install the software, create a new folder on your C:\Users\Yourusername directory (you can name the folder whatever you like.)
3. Run the installer for the Sales Manager Pro software. When you are asked where you want to install the software, click browse and install it into the newly created folder in your Users directory.
4. When you are finished with the installation, uncheck both the "view read me" and "launch the program" boxes.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Right click the SM Pro desktop icon, and check the "run this application as an administrator" box.
7. Launch the software.
8. You will be asked if you want to download your images and preferences. Do not download images and preferences.
9. When the program has finished loading, click the Preferences button along the left side of the page. Check the box at the very bottom of this window that says 'Do not download standard images from Vendio image hosting'** and save the change.
**We do not recommend downloading images from online into Sales Manager Pro unless you need the images to attach to future listings. You can import images into Sales Manager Pro from your hard drive or camera to use with new listings, and these images will be uploaded as you upload your listings.

Hi, I'm talking about just going into upload photos when in sales manager and uploading photos to Vendio. I'm not using the sales manager pro software offline if that's what you mean?? I have noticed that I have to delete temporary internet files every time before uploading in sales manager.

Hello,
Do you mean that the images upload without any problems for you if you clear your temporary internet files first? But if you do not then you have problems? What happens if you use a different browser, such as Mozilla Firefox? Do you have the same problem?

Yes, I have found that I need to delete temporary internet files and cookies to be able to upload photos using Vista - IE Explorer 7. I have several sites I upload photos to and only time I have this problem is on Vendio. I have never used Mozilla and hope I never have to - ha!
