Whenever I do a NPB notice/dispute through Vendio, after the wait time ebay refunds me my FVF. That works fine. Once in a while the bidder will become NARU on ebay right after I file the NPB notice. OK, no problem on my end, as ebay has refunded me my FVF.

Now the problem... when I go back to Vendio to 'Update' the NPB process. After I click on 'Update', and then make note that I still have not received payment, I click 'submit'. After a few minutes it comes back with an 'error':

>>>The Update Dispute failed to be submitted at the auction site.

The explanation given for the error was:
The action is not currently applicable for this dispute. Please check your action id and try again.

Please try resending the Update Dispute for this listing <<<

Hmmm, well the reason it is not 'applicable' is that the bidder is now 'Not a Registered User'. This may be because I submitted the 'final strike' that booted him, or possibly another seller did it. Either way, they were NARU'd AFTER I filed the NPB dispute but BEFORE I got my fee back from Vendio. This has happened quite a few other times to me and it is always with someone who becomes NARU's during that 'wait' time.

Curious- are we supposed to get our selling fee back for the item from Vendio if a NPB duspute is filed? or am I imagining it? Either way, 'erroring out' seems to tell me something is amiss.

Hello,

That is only the steps for filing the UPI with eBay, this is not for your Vendio account.

In the case of a non-paying buyer, you may request a refund for the final value fee. In order to qualify for the refund, you will need to provide proof that the item in question was also refunded by the auction site. The line item from your auction site statement showing a refund is generally sufficient (you would just paste this into the refund form on our website.)

To find our refund request form, click the "Got questions about this statement?" link on your Vendio statement = or just click here.

Regards,
Chris
