I had everything set to auto-renew and then I started noticing missing photos. When I checked - auto renew was turned off. I did not do this so why was it turned off. I had this happen on my other ID as well and I lost a priceless photo I had store there. I cried because the photo meant so much to me.
Also on my other ID - I had NEVER used watermarking but it started showing on my photos. How did that happen??
I'm paying for storage service and this type of issue isn't acceptable.

Hello,

Most all of the images in this account (ebabestreasures) are *not* currently setup as auto-renew. 53 images uploaded 9/22/08, 16 from 9/12/08 and 2 from 11.25.2006 are setup to automatically renew - all the rest are not.

Your default setting is to autorenew, which will apply to any image you upload from the point you set this up going forward, but images uploaded prior to setting this as the default will retain their original settings.

If you click to select all in your image hosting page and click the 'renew' tab, you can set them up to renew as you have done with your recently uploaded images.

On your other account we show you, or someone logged into this account at the time, enabled the watermarking service on August the 6th.

Please email us through the contact us form for more details if you want. (computer the request was made from/etc)

The auto-renew preference is enabled on this account, and all but 2 images in this account currently are setup to renew automatically. The 2 that are not are located in a folder marked 'need to delete soon.'

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris
I appreciate your help but once I selected auto renew on both of my accounts I never changed it. I do have someone else that works with me on this ID but I don't see her making changes to the settings.
August 6 sounds like the date I tried to turn off the the water marking on my other ID (just didn't do it correctly) and if you check you can see some of my images are water marked and are much older than that.
I've got too many other thing going on right now to worry about this but I'll have to keep an eye on it. I just hope it doesn't happen again.
Thanks anyway.

Hello,

It is likely that the images that do not have auto-renew enabled were uploaded before you turned on that setting. You would need to manually set the auto-renew for those images.

The reason your older images also have a watermark is because all images that are stored in your account have a watermark added, when the watermarking service is active (it does not matter when the images were uploaded in this case).

Regards,
Nathan
